I created this tour for my vegetarian family visiting from abroad, who struggled to figure out what they could safely eat in Seoul’s markets. I spent over a month in Gwangjang Market before my family came, checking ingredients and talking with each cook until I mapped a route for vegetarians.
Since guiding my family, I kept researching and fine-tuning the route. Every stop is now fully plant-based, so both vegetarians and vegans can join with confidence. I handle all ordering and translation, so you can simply enjoy the food and stories.
Important note: Gwangjang is a busy working market; some cross-contact or cross-contamination may occur, and the tour is not suitable for strict gluten-free diets or food allergies.

5.00I loved Jungho’s vegan food tour at Gwangjang Market, it was such a fun and delicious experience! As someone who sometimes struggles with finding vegan food in Seoul (language barriers + not knowing what’s in dishes), this was a dream come true. Every dish was clearly vegan, and so tasty. Jungho was super friendly and shared amazing stories about the market, the food, and korean traditions. The soybean noodles (kongguksu) and mungbean pancakes were my favorites, authentic and perfect! If you’re vegan or just curious about plant-based Korean food, this tour is a must. No stress, just great food and good vibes. Highly recommend! 🌱💚

He puts effort to make you feel comfortable and make sure everyone feels good. Our conversations were very productive and I learn much about Korean culture and how they do things. 5.00We had such a great time on this street food tour with Jungho. The size of the group was perfect - big enough so that there was a nice atmosphere and small enough so that we could all stay together and hear everything. We got to try so many foods that we never thought would be vegan and Jungho clearly has great relationships with the stall owners as they were all super welcoming, smiley and helpful. And it was also really FUN! Jungho's relaxed and friendly manner put everyone at their ease and there was lots of laughter. We did this tour on our first full day in Korea and it was a fantastic introduction to local food and drinks. One of us is vegetarian and one of us has a shellfish allergy so this was a great, safe way for us both to experience Korean street food- so glad we did it! Also, listen to Jungho and come hungry!
