We will pick you up at the starting point from the Isle of Flores to transfer you in a comfortable air-conditioned transport, where you will meet other travelers passionate about adventure. Upon arrival at Yaxhá National Park, we will walk under the shadow of the rainforest as our certified expert guide reveals the history of this stunning Mayan city, its squares and its astronomical complexes. At the end of the afternoon, we will ascend together to the top of Temple 216 (the highest structure on the site) to witness a mystical moment: the sun setting on the horizon and tinging with golden and red tones the immense lagoon of Yaxhá and the jungle. The tour concludes with the descent, a night walk to the bus and transfer back to the Isle of Flowers. Book your place in this group and experience the perfect sunset!

The tour departs at 12, and when you are arriving at the archaeological area, they tell you that you are very early and offer an additional tour; if you are not encouraged to pay for this tour, you can wander around until they return. It's not that the tour is bad, but it is not correct.

Immediately saw monkeys walking in!! It’s an 2hr drive then we stop to pick up more ppl/get snacks bc there’s nothing inside Yaxha then we walk around diff areas and then see sunset!! (ask to stay on the ruins imo it’s better then the deck that looks out to the lake)

Amazing experience visiting Yaxhá and highly recommend this tour. The site was much less crowded than Tikal which made it feel even more special, and hearing the loud monkeys throughout the jungle the entire time was super cool. The tour was very organized and the guide was extremely knowledgeable as well.

This tour was amazing! Manuel was really passionate, knowledgeable, and funny. He was also great at spotting wildlife so we were able to see so much.

Good tour even though it was cloudy and we could not see the sunrise. We weren’t advised that we had to bring lunch, but the accompanying guide got us some sandwiches talking to an establishment he knew. I recommend taking it beforehand. The journey is long because the roads are in bad shape, but worth it.

It’s a two hour drive then 45 minutes wasted while we wait to get tickets. Then we wait for all the other buses to show up. It was a bit of a shock with the length of wasted time. After that though, it was an incredible trip! See Tikal AFTER this site though. I did it in the wrong order. You will appreciate this site so much more if you do it first! The guide was great.

Takes about 3 hours to get there. Very bumpy road. You can climb the temples and the view is amazing!
