The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.

Minimum age for introductory scuba diving is 12 years. All diving participants will be required to complete a health questionaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If doing multiple dives, an interval of 24 hours is recommended.

What To Expect
Silversonic Dive & Snorkel
Your day begins with pickup from your Port Douglas hotel. The fastest ride out to the reef from Port Douglas, the ultra modern 29 meter catamaran will be your base for the day. Throughout the day you'll visit three locations on Agincourt Reef, each showcasing a different aspect of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. The cruise has exclusive access to 22 premier internationally recognised reef sites and you have the choice to snorkel, dive or a combination of both. The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.
Agincourt Reef
Agincourt Reef sits at the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, a ribbon reef running parallel to the Continental Shelf. There is a multitude of marine life at Agincourt Reef, from tiny iridescent fish seeking shelter in their coral homes to massive giant clams weighing up to 200 kilograms (440 pounds).

5.00World class experience. Learn how to scuba dive around the greatest natural ocean wonder in the world. And they even throw in a gourmet lunch. Just make sure you take motion sickness medication for the ride to and from. No issues at all once you get to the outer reef though.

5.00The trip is good for both snorkeling and SCUBA diving. The three different sites provide variety in coral and fish. The crew was amazingly helpful and friendly. We are older and just did snorkeling. The crew never made us feel like stepchildren of the SCUBA divers. The catamaran provided a smooth ride to and from the reef. It was a great day.

5.00Food was very good, boat was very cool with free nausea tablets. With three different sites, we had plenty of time to explore the reef and even got to swim with a turtle! Company provided very comfortable full body stinger suits which also acted ti protect us against the sun. As well as flippers, mask, snorkels, and underwater photos.

5.00We went with a group of 6 friends for a day out on the reef, the weather showed up, the swell stayed away and the day was unreal. Showed up to a proper little breakfast with coffee and tea, great lunch, and amazing hospitality from all the staff on the boat. Big shout out to Gordo our Dive Master of the day, mans an absolute legend, he showed us some unreal spots, great guide, and good guy. 10/10 recommend.

5.00Gordon was an absolutely fantastic dive instructor — knowledgeable, calm, and just a genuinely great person to be in the water with. His chill vibe made the whole experience relaxing and fun, even for those of us who were a bit nervous. The highlight? He showed us a shark resting in a cave — a moment I’ll never forget. Gordon pointed it out without disturbing the shark or the reef, keeping everyone safe while making sure we got an incredible view. If you’re heading to the Great Barrier Reef, ask for Gordon. Professional, easygoing, and clearly passionate about what he does. 10/10.

5.00To The entire team of Silversonic - Thank you. They were very friendly, patient and made all of us very comfortable. Gordon was our dive instructor and he was extremely patient and understanding as it was our first dives. I was able to do two intro dives and by the second dive, I was able to move around myself and he was closely watching us to ensure we were absolutely safe. The food was great and plenty. There was plenty of cookies/biscuits and coffee/tea before we left and again later in the afternoon. The photographer ensured we all got our time in the Reef captured. While the sea was rough and bumpy on the way back, the skipper ensure we all got back safely ! Kudos to him ! The crew also offered sea sickness tablets which we bought and glad we did. All in all, a great day and crew. Highly recommended!
