Start the tour with being collected from your hotel, headed towards the historic village of Silves, where you will discover this Algarve village. The castle is a must-see, and you will be able to explore this fantastic monument in detail. The tour then continues with the Silves Cathedral, as well as the Archeology Museum of Silves, a unique place full of historical pieces that tell the history of the region.
Explore the mountains for some panoramic views, you will then proceed onward to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve region and one of the largest in Portugal. With 902 meters of height. Return to the hotels.

5.00My original tour for Lagos was cancelled due to not enough people however the company got in touch and rebooked this tour for me , no fuss or hassle. The tour guide Andre was lovley giving a lot of information making stops along the way so we can see and explore ! I managed to see the cathedral the museum and the castle ! It did rain but we managed to stop at a few shops and I felt really safe as a solo female traveller

3.00Before making a tour, make sure places we pay to visit are open. We were expecting to visit church next to fortress in Silves but was closed👎 Tour mentioned optional lunch but it was never offered? Density in back seats of VW Van, very rough ride. Pick up at front of our condo was very appreciated.

5.00Mario was a very good guide and very knowledgeable, especially about Monchique and it's social culture. Silves is definitely worth a visit too with such a historical background. Would recommend this tour if you want to see different aspects of the Algarve away from the beautiful beaches and golf courses.
