Today was absolutely amazing. Even though we encountered some problems with the roads, Emily managed to « DIY » us a wonderful day I’ll never forget. She was also really funny and a great guide! I highly recommend this tour!!

We’d done a one-day tour before so we knew roughly what to expect, but this one stood out. The route from Inverness to the Fairy Pools and Dunvegan Castle is stunning, and our guide Martin made it even better. He’s a good driver on roads that aren’t always easy, knows his history and stories without overdoing it, and has decent taste in music for the long stretches. He pointed us in the right direction at each stop and didn’t rush us along, which made a real difference, you actually get to take things in. The Fairy Pools lived up to the hype and Dunvegan Castle was worth the visit. Solid day out. Thanks Martin.

Great adventure with Martin! The fairy pools were gorgeous, Dunvegan castle and gardens were incredible, and Portree was so charming. Martin was an encyclopedia of information and a master of telling fairy tales. Mix it all with some humor and his charming personality he created a little “tour bus family” by the time the 13 hour adventure was over. Oh!!! And somehow we saved time and were able to get in a whisky tasting! Wonderful day exploring the Highlands.

The tour with Marten was wonderful - he is the best tour guide I have ever experienced. During the tour, it was clear that he loves his job, and he accompanied us throughout the day with a lot of humor and exciting stories about Scotland - just like the motto: Why should one be too old for fairy tales as an adult? The day was wonderful, and we even made a spontaneous stop at a bar. I felt safe at all times, and the group was great. Like a small family :)
