We debated whether it was worth giving up a full day in London to visit Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds. By the end of the tour, we couldn't have been happier that we did. The destinations themselves were incredible, but what truly made the day memorable was our guide, Lucy. She is one of the best storytellers we have encountered on any guided tour. Her knowledge was extensive, but even more impressive was her ability to deliver it in a way that was engaging, entertaining, and never overwhelming. Lucy had an exceptional sense for timing. She knew when to let the scenery speak for itself and give everyone a chance to simply take in the beauty of the English countryside. Then, as we approached a historic site or point of interest, she would seamlessly draw us back in with fascinating stories, local history, and insights that brought each location to life. What could have felt like a long day instead flew by. The balance of history, scenery, and storytelling was perfect. Stonehenge, Bath, and the charming Cotswold villages were all highlights, but Lucy's guidance elevated the experience from a sightseeing trip to a truly memorable journey. If you're considering leaving London for a day trip, don't hesitate. If you're fortunate enough to have Lucy as your guide, you're in for an exceptional experience.

We had a great day on tour yesterday in spite of iffy weather. Our guide, Val, was prompt, personable and professional. She was very knowledgeable and fun! included anecdotes and fun facts along the way! The whole day was lovely and after the ride home, dropped us at a tube stop closer to our destination.

Kara was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable about everything England. Cannot more highly recommend this tour! Looking forward to going back and exploring Bath and the Cotswolds more in the future!! As your time is limited in each spot you do have to choose whether you want to explore or sit down and eat as there isn’t time for both! Grabbing take away for eating on the bus was a great solution for us. Would absolutely book a tour with the English Bus and Kara again!!!!!

Jon was excellent! We learned so much about Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds. He’s well educated and has a fun personality. His timing is perfection. Just enough time in each location. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Our driver Lucy was great! Warm, professional, funny, good with accents, I learned about history, beautiful buildings, Queen Victoria’s ankles, the big pastry rind on a Cornish pasty. And my daughter and I felt taken care of. Recommended

This was a wonderful day trip to explore outside of London, and Nohl V. (The English Bus) was a fabulous guide and driver. He was friendly, funny, and kind. He also gave us the information we needed both of the areas we were driving through and the high level history -- it was just the right amount of detail! We generally book private or small group tours and this was lovely. If you're considering this tour, we highly recommend. Quick tips regarding meals and timing: Stonehenge wasn't the best (i.e., most delicious) spot for a takeaway lunch, but worked from a timing perspective. We wished we had the opportunity for lunch in Bath but that would have been quite late in the day due to traffic detours/diversions. Also, we had dinner very late after the tour and wished we had brought some snacks.

We traveled to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds, spending about the right amount of time in each place. Our tour guide Tony, was especially good. He was always accommodating and knowledgeable. The tour gave us options of having guided tours or free time. Our guide gave us plenty of information about the day trip and the places we’d be visiting while we traveled to our locations. It was a wonderful day trip with a good company that provided a very nice and comfortable van for transportation and a fun and friendly guide. We’d do it again with their company.
