Our trip to Milford Sound was absolutely amazing, and a huge shoutout to our driver, James! He deserves a 100% perfect score. James is a fantastic driver—super smooth and professional, which made us feel incredibly safe on the winding roads. On top of that, he is so humorous and witty, keeping everyone entertained and laughing throughout the journey. The long drive flew by! This trip left us with wonderful memories. Highly, highly recommend James to anyone visiting Milford Sound! 👍✨

We went to Milford Sound yesterday and it was such a great experience. Thomas was so friendly and made sure we are on time. We were so lucky to have him as our tour guide as we were able to see the amazing waterfalls, rivers and numerous Kea parrots. I noticed he is very knowledgeable as well just like SinChan! Now I conclude that altitude tours is not just about business but it’s about people as well being passionate to share what New Zealand has to offer. This company with these amazing guides just makes your tour completely unforgettable. Thanks Thomas! Neil and Joy

My wife and I went on the Milford Sound Tour on Friday 10 April 2026. Chelsea, our driver and tour guide was simply fantastic. She has a bubbly personality, very obliging and an indepth knowledge of New Zealand. She is most caring and ensured our comfort at all times. The sights on the way to Milford Sound was stunning. The views and waterfalls on the boat cruise was picturesque and breath taking. We highly recommend the Milford Sound Tour with Altitude Tours to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Our guide Allegra was fantastic and informative. The wine tasting was delightful and we met some wonderful people. The only reason I am giving this only a 3 star is because itinerary clearly states “see lord of the rings filming locations”, this was the biggest draw for us. We had to ask about it 🥲, I don’t think it would have even been mentioned.

We went on the small group tour to Milford Haven, and upgraded to business class. It’s a long day but a wonderful experience. Our guide Stuart was charming, friendly and unfailingly helpful and very good company. The food and service on the boat was also first class. It was a true highlight of our New Zealand holiday.
