This tour was an absolute highlight of our Maui vacation! Our tour guide Joel was so knowledgeable and fun. He let us try fruits and flowers that were edible along the way as we adventured to 3 waterfalls to jump and swim in. Hike Maui has access to secluded areas, so we were the only people at each stop at times. They provided all of the essentials we needed for a great day - lunch, snacks, bug spray, etc. Other groups weren’t doing the exact same path, and the tour felt “custom” to an extent; I’d return to do the tour again for sure!

Our waterfall hike was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The scenery was breathtaking, and the opportunity to hike through the rainforest and jump into waterfalls made for an unforgettable adventure. What really made the experience stand out was our guide, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the excursion. Their passion and enthusiasm added so much to the day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, active, and uniquely Hawaiian experience! 🌿💦🌺

We did the waterfalls hike with Allison as our guide. Allison was amazing -- a super-chill surfer-girl turned botanist, naturalist and historian! She was an endless font of interesting information on the flora, fauna, history and current culture of Hawaii. Her enthusiasm and love for Hawaii is contagious ---even to my two teenagers! When I booked this trip, I was wondering if I could do these hikes on my own and find these waterfalls. The waterfalls seem to be partially on private land. It's not totally clear what parts are private and what parts are public. But it doesn't matter, because even if it was all on public land there is NO WAY I could find these sites. The trails are completely unmarked. Additionally, Allison advised us on what was safe and what was not safe. We went after a day of heavy rains so some of the sites were not safe for cliff-jumping or going into the water. We enjoyed it all just the same. The sites were very beautiful, particularly the site called "The Cave" which is a waterfall that goes over a large cave beneath it. A great trip!! Thank you Allison!

It’s really fun. It’s climbing over big tree roots, across rivers with strong currents, and down the side of small hills rocks, I. 57&my bestie is 58 and we did it! Our guide MoMo was just fantastic and so full of knowledge in anything about the islands. Very helpful and kind as can be.

Such a wonderful hike. Angela was an energetic, friendly and all around great tour guide. The falls were fantastic and the opportunity to swim at two falls- incoming a cliff jump (when conditions allow). Learned so much of the history and nature of Maui and also got to taste a few “natural” treats along the hike. They supply each person with a backpack, lunch, poncho and insect repellant (but we didn’t need it). Highly suggest this tour/hike and Angela.

I love to hike, so overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this wet, muddy, slippery hike! I am height-challenged, so there were a few spots where I needed assistance to climb over large fallen tree trunks and step up/down in some spots, but I'm accustomed to this type of challenge & it has yet to stop me from continuing to hike. I highly recommend wearing water-resistant hiking shoes or carry a pair of water shoes to switch into for the waterfalls. Women intending to enter the water should consider wearing a two-piece swimsuit under hiking clothes because it's too dirty in the port-a-potties to pull off exterior clothing & pull-down a one-piece swimsuit to use the facility! Our guide, Grayson, took great care of us in the group and made this hike both educational & entertaining.

We did the shorter tour and now wish we would have done the longer one. It is an easy hike into the rainforest. Our guide Michael was fantastic. He lived off the land and truly knows all of the plants and flowers. He took us to an amazing waterfall. It was a refreshing cool lagoon with crisp fresh water. The plants and flowers are exquisite! Definitely book this or the longer tour!
