5.00We were blessed with the perfect day to fly down to Bathurst Harbour as you can see from the reflection in the photos below. Our pilot/guide and cater had a wealth of knowledge of the history of the area, the sights and the geography from Hobart all the way down to and the SW Wilderness area itself. His delivery was easy and very interesting. His story telling for such a young man was bang on and engaging! Morning tea at an eco retreat was surreal given there was not a whiff of breeze and no one except the 5 of us flown in for miles around and then lunch on the beach was lovely washed down by a glass of Pinot Noir. A true wilderness experience without the 7 day hike into the area.

5.00It’s a rarity on Trip Adviser to see an experience rated overwhelmingly 5 Stars by all reviewers …. but how could one not rate this marvellous trip any less than 5 stars ! It is as all the reviews have highlighted .., spectacular scenery in this magnificent pristine area of Tasmania. My wife and I had a truly wonderful day and our very knowledgeable pilot assisted by Paige ensured that we and our three fellow guests had a memorable day. We were blessed with beautiful weather and our pilot Michael made every part of the day a terrific experience. It is possible to wax on much further but one may only endorse all the previous glowing reviews. A fabulous trip and should not be missed. Highly recommended.

5.00This day trip was extraordinarily beautiful and well worth the cost. We were in good hands with the pilot who explained landmarks with enthusiasm and care. On landing we were well guided and taken care of, with more information on the history and indigenous culture of the South West area. The landscape is breathtaking and so pristine. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Katy & Paul

5.00Wow, what a special place and what a phenomenal tour. Very impressed with the pilots sharing their knowledge on the flights of the landscape and history. The boat tour of Bathurst harbour and out to Port Davey was unforgettable - Mirror views, sea caves, mountains. Great lunch and felt very relaxed. Return flight allowed us to see where we had been and the view of the Breaksea Islands back up to Bathurst Harbour were amazing. Great day with the best weather. So lucky.

5.00Our day was magical. Everything was perfect, including the weather which was amazing. Our pilot, Caleb, and our skipper on the boat, Mick, were extremely competent, informative and great company. What a beautiful place the South West National Park is. Thank you for showing it to us.

5.00The scenery is beyond incredible. The flight gave us spectacular views of the Tasmanian landscape and the Michael was extremely interesting and informative. We had a really wonderful day. They provide a delicious lunch as well. We cannot recommend the experience any more highly. It was fantastic. If we ever had the opportunity again we would love to return. Thank you very much indeed.

5.00A brilliant, stand out experience. Our pilot Jason and guide David were absolutely fantastic. Both very knowledgable which made the whole day so interesting. Flying along the coast to the landing strip at Melaleuca was very cool. Spending the day in Bathurst Harbour was an unforgettable experience. Calm conditions meant we got right out to the stunning Breaksea Islands. Gourmet lunch then boat ride back followed by the flight back to Hobart across the Western Arthur range. Do it!

5.00What a day! Par Avion Wilderness Tours took us up in an 8 passenger bush airplane for a 40 minute flight from Hobart to Friendly Beaches. Our pilot, Patrick, was fantastic and knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area. We then went on a 5 hour boat cruise around the Freycinet peninsula before getting back aboard the pane for an hour flight around the Tasman peninsula back to Hobart. An awesome day.
