What To Expect

During the tour, our guide will share valuable information about the Tortuguero ecosystem, the importance of sea turtles and conservation efforts. We will also encourage the spawning of sea turtles and different processes they perform. To ensure their well-being, it is not permitted to take photographs or use lights; only the authorised guide may use a red light when permitted to carry out the observation responsibly and safely.

The best experience possible. I can only say good things, Pablo is an exceptional guide and a very great person, he has an amazing view to see animals that we would not be able to see even a meter. What we liked the most, was that you could tell that it is not only his work, but it is his passion. This makes telling it that way infects you with that enthusiasm. Super recommended tour!!!

Our guide, Pablo took us on a night hike on the beach to see spawning green sea turtles. We witnessed two turtles....one was laying eggs, then buried them while the other turtle we watched her as she trekked back out to see. It was amazing!

We had an unforgettable experience in Tortuguero watching the green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. 🌙🐢 Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, passionate, and really helped us understand the importance of protecting these incredible creatures. The whole evening was magical, and our boys (aged 3 and 6) were captivated from start to finish. The guide explained everything in a way that kept them engaged, and seeing such a natural wonder up close was something we’ll never forget. A once-in-a-lifetime family experience – we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Pablo is a crack, certainly one of the best guides I have ever had, not to say the best. I flew the hike not only because of everything we were lucky enough to see thanks to his good eye for detecting animals, but because he made it very enjoyable, providing data and information about everything. If I go back to tortoise, I would repeat without thinking.

Pablo is a really good guide. He was able to spot a lot of frogs, iguanas and spiders during our walk. He’s also very passionate and keen at sharing his knowledge. We did both the night tour and canoe with him.

A great young and humble guide who made us learn and enjoy a spectacular Night Tour. He has the ability to see animals that for us were totally imperceptible (lazy included) while giving us a masterclass in the Tortuguero Forest.

The night hike was a great experience for us. We first walked on a dirt road near the Stranded and later on a narrow path through the bananas. We could see many different animals and Pablo could give us interesting information about each one.

Everything was well organized by Pablo. I also did another tour with him. During the night tour I saw a lot of animals like sloths, spiders, frogs, sneaks, etc. I definitely recommend him! :)
