great excursion - fun snorkeling and good lunch. The trip was well run, fun, and we got to see a lot of the island.

This excursion was 10/10 with the most beautiful stops and sightings. We were lucky and swam right next to sea turtles at Tintamarre Island!! Another beautiful beach had lots of iguanas and little shops. We had lunch at Lolo's area and cleaned up our plates (ribs & chicken). It was neat watching everyone barbecue and prepare meals. Bring something to drink with lunch or buy a drink there as it is not included with your lunch; tip them too, they work hard! We saw children in school with their teacher who was giving swim lessons in the sea, how awesome?! The amount of people in the boat was perfect; three of us and a family of nine who brought along their sweet and happy infant who loved riding the waves! Captain Fly and Noah were extremely kind, accommodating, and fun! They told us about the island in various places and it was so interesting. We loved everything about this unforgettable excursion! Book it if you want to have fun!!! HELPFUL TIPS & INFO: We booked this on Viator prior to a sailing with Icon of the Seas. You take a left out of the cruising village gate and follow the main road sidewalk until you find the description from your booking. After the tour, you can get back to the cruise port via boat ferry or walking back. A lady or person will take your lunch order and collect the $10/person for fees prior to getting on the boat. Also bring cash for souvenirs if you choose at one of the stops, lunch tip/lunch drink, ferry boat ride back to port (unless you walk back which we did), and good tips for your hosts because these guys deserve it!!! ***BIG TIP: If you have children that will snorkel, bring their own snorkel gear. They did not have child sizes. I left mine on the ship for my daughter and wish I hadn't but we made do! And WEAR THE FINS, especially if at Tintamarre Island b/c the boat is a good distance from the shore and you'll spend the entire stop swimming there and back without fins lol LASTLY: DO NOT TRUST a waterproof cell phone case. Only bring a GoPro or make sure to test the case very well before you're out in the ocean. I upgraded to a larger "waterproof" phone cover from Amazon and it failed twice (yes it was closed correctly). My phone did not turn on for the remainder of our cruise. Still worth it but don't be like me :) AGAIN, definitely book this tour!

We had the best time on this excursion! Sammy & Eli were top notch and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so knowledgeable about the islands and told lots of great/entertaining stories. Our 7 year old says this was her favorite part of our entire cruise :)

It was a good time. I think the directions need cleaned up a little bit as far as how to get there. When we got off the cruise ship, we did not see any signs for phillipsburg. I think it would be nice to also put that there could be several other boat excursions at the same place and spray sunscreen is not recommended as much as rubbing sun screen

Be ready to wait before starting the tour and don’t expect much communication from the pre-tour coordinator. Once we got going, things were good. I read about 12-14 on the tour, but we had 18-19. Was still not crowded, but less personalized We ran out of time to watch planes land, saw one. The lunch spot is very island rustic, think BBQ with the locals.

Jad and Johan were great. Great tour. Unlimited beer and drinks. One of my favorite tours to do in Sint Maarten.

This excursion was extremely disappointing because the actual experience did not match the photos or description provided during booking. We specifically selected this excursion because it appeared to be a smaller, more relaxed boat experience with a certain itinerary and atmosphere. The images and description strongly suggested a more intimate excursion, which is exactly what our group was looking for. Instead, when we arrived, we were combined with a large crowd and placed on a completely different boat that operated more like a loud party cruise. The boat we were assigned to, called “Rum Rush,” focused heavily on unlimited rum punch and a drinking atmosphere, which was the exact type of excursion we intentionally tried to avoid. The listing we booked gave no indication that this substitution could happen. To make matters worse, the Rum Rush experience was being sold at a lower price point than what we had paid. The biggest issue was that the marketing materials simply did not reflect reality. The photos, boat size, atmosphere, and overall experience were misleading. While the staff themselves were friendly enough, the excursion felt like a bait and switch situation. We spoke with other passengers onboard who also believed they had booked something different, which made it seem like this happens regularly. Overall, the experience damaged our trust in the operator because what was advertised was not what was delivered. I would strongly recommend future travelers proceed carefully and not rely too heavily on the listing photos or descriptions.

Operator changed the meeting location and time of the excursion the night before. We didn't get the notification of the change so waited at the original meeting spot and time but no one showed up. I called him and was told the tour was cancelled.

Amazing excursion! Sammy and Thomas were so accommodating and FUN! Music playlist was a perfect blend of island and Bon Jovi. Rum punch was flowing. Snorkling was great and saw turtles at Tintamarre and iguanas at Pinel Island. Eating at a local spot was a treat. We saw so much of the island and even caught at few planes flying in to Maho. Highly recommend, best excursion we did on this trip. The boat went fast and you will get wet. This is not a trip for sissies. Did I mention FUN?!?!

We had lots of fun on this tour. Our guides Lucas and Flow were amazing and provided lots of information about the island. We had plenty of time at the 2 snorkel stops, as well as the beach time and stop for lunch. Lucas even stopped the boat when we spotted dolphins so everyone could see them. The bbq lunch was delicious and we really enjoyed the unlimited beer/rum punch. I highly recommend this tour.
