We had an excellent guide named Travis. He provided information about the monuments as well as some Navajo history. The evening light on the monuments was amazing and provided many postcard moments.

The meeting point in the park was easy to find. However, there is a $10 fee for entering with a car. Be sure to keep this ticket, as it may be requested again at the second entrance check with the guides. Our guide Travis was a Navajo and explained at the beginning with a lot of humor what we could expect in the following three hours. After a short drive on the public road (or rather bumpy road) through the national park and a stop at John Ford Point, where some westerns with John Wayne were filmed, we left the public bumpy road and were driven into the backcountry. There, we got to see beautiful rock formations. Travis also frequently stopped, let us get off the transporters, and then told us about the locations and the history of his tribe. This was captivating and fascinating every time. This was always engaging and fascinating. A special highlight was the musical performance in front of a rock formation with unique acoustics, along with his brother Donny, who happened to be there that day. The entire tour is absolutely recommended without any reservations. However, in our opinion, it is not really important whether one does this at sunset or during the day. The experience as a whole was simply breathtaking. Once again, thank you very much to Travis. If it hadn't been so cold in the evening, I would have loved to leave him my Iron Maiden shirt, which he really liked, as a farewell gift. On my next visit, I will bring an extra shirt for him.

This is the tour I would take if it was my first time visiting Monument Valley. This was our first visit and this was a fabulous introduction. The drive can be done in your own vehicle, but it's a really rough road. Better to be driven in a vehicle built to accomodate the bumps. Also, you see much more on this tour than you can see on your own. Our guide was very informative and a good driver. We had some great places to take photos as the sun was coming down.

Travis was exceptional as our tour guide! The sunset tour was amazing, spiritual and magical. Travis wove Navajo history and stories together and his musical talents added so much to our tour.

Had a great time riding in a covered jeep through the monuments. We had an issue with our date (caused by me) that the operator was quick to overlook and get us into one of their groups. We were very grateful for their flexibility. Our guide, Carole, was very informative and fun. Loved the Navajo song and stories throughout the tour. We weren't really able to see a full sunset as it's starting to set much later, but the changes in lighting in the valley was beautiful. Worth the money spent, as we didn't have to drive our RV on that road and we got a more immersive experience.

A great tour with tour guide King Richard, he made it a great experience with information and humour accompanied by his historical and tribal knowledge to gain a great insight into a land and heritage he is obviously very proud of. He also took some great photographs for us to remember the trip by. I highly recommend this tour

Nate was an awesome guide and a pro at using the IPhone camera. It was a great experience riding through the restricted parts of monument valley. Nate was well versed in the specific monuments and the valley and culture as a whole. It was 3 hours, but the stops were frequent and Nate was very patient with everyone taking pictures and asking questions. It was a great way to see monument valley and I am glad I booked the tour.

We had a wonderful time, went to places that were magical, our guide shared interesting stories of his life and culture with us that made the tour so much better, and also played the flute beautifully in a special place.
