Specialising in Swim with Whale Shark Tours, 3 Islands Whale Shark Dive operate full-day snorkel tours between mid-March and mid-August. With courtesy bus transfers departing from Exmouth at 7.15am, and returning at 4.30pm.

5.00So glad I did this. Alice was our guide in the water & Hannah was the photographer and they were fantastic but all the crew were really fabulous. Friendly, optimistic (weather started out horrible) and it ended up being an unforgettable experience. Our shark was gentle & laid back and stayed with us for a long time so we all got 4 swims with it. If I were to name it the name would be Cecil the Great.

5.00The snorkeling reef was quite good, everything included, but secondary. We were lucky enough to see whale sharks three times and swim with them. It was simply wonderful. The crew was really great and took care of everyone very well; it couldn't have been better.

5.00Amazing experience! I couldn’t fault anything. Plenty of time with the whale shark and amazing crew. Even when there was an issue with the bus coming back, they were amazing- tracking down drinks, snacks and music to make up for the very minor wait (even though everyone was happy to sit around and chat for a few minutes anyway). I don’t often write reviews, but had to shout out to these people, who seem to do their job with the sole purpose of making the experience even more memorable and magical.
Just do it, you won’t regret it.

5.00From pickup to drop off it was an exceptional experience, Hannah looked after me in the water and everyone else in her group, AJ got some fantastic pics and made sure even those who couldn’t keep up with the shark got a pic, KP helped me back on board when she wasn’t too busy driving the boat expertly, Annabelle was always there to pick you up whenever you needed it and I did, what a great team who made sure everyone enjoyed their day and thanks to our handsome male whale shark for allowing to share his space, amazing sight to see in the wild. Highly recommend this trip to anyone even if you are not a great at snorkeling. Thank you for a great experience!!!

5.00We had the pleasure of going on the whale shark tour with the Seafari crew. The team were so friendly and professional, even the vibes on the bus were great. The crew were super enthusiastic, knowledgeable and you can tell that they really care for the creatures, the area and enjoy their jobs. They were safety forward, the briefing was accessible and fun enough that we remembered it all! We entered the water in two groups of ten so it wasn't crowded. We got five dives with the whale shark and two reef snorkels. The crew ensured there were lots of photo opportunities for everyone, no matter their abilities. Molly even jumped in to photograph an ornate eagle ray on the way. I would encourage people not to bring cameras. I felt that the cameras spurred people to swim too close to the whale shark, looking through the lens instead of at the guides or the animal and pushing through people. Molly's photos are unbelievable, let her do what she's best at so you can enjoy the experience! I cannot recommend the 3 Islands experience enough, a highlight of our lap of Aus.
