Really enjoyable and interesting lunch in a stunningly beautiful setting. Our host, Dana was lovely, friendly engaging and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Norwegian farm life and tasted some lovely locally sourced food. Highly recommend this.

We did this experience as part of our trip to Flam. It was our wedding anniversary so thought we would treat ourselves and were pleased with the decision! The whole experience was lovely. Our host, Daria, was so enthusiastic. She explained about the origin of the food and Norwegian customs and made the whole experience really enjoyable. She was engaging and included everyone in the experience (there was one other couple). The food spoke for itself, very tasty and full of flavour. Local apple juice is also served and was absolutely delicious - I couldn't get enough! There is a cafe where you can buy other drinks, including local ciders and beers (this is on the farm and you don't have to do the experience as they also served food, but I would recommend you did). The setting on the farm is beautiful and the barn is set up nicely, if maybe a little chilly. Overall we were so pleased that we decided to do this experience and would definitely recommend.

Our day at the Fjord Farm in Flåm was unforgettable. A peaceful, local, Fjord vibe with a local tour guide who provided a heartfelt welcome to her farm. Tusen Takk, Daria!

This was one of our favorite experiences during a recent mother/daughter trip to Norway. Daria hosted us and was so kind and gracious. We loved visiting with her and hearing about local life. The meal was fabulous, the views were phenomenal, and it felt like an authentic experience. I think she told us that all of our food & beverages were sourced within 15 miles, or something similar. We stayed around after to enjoy a local beer and swing on the Fjord Swing as we just couldn't get enough of the views. I can't recommend this enough! It was an easy, short walk from the heart of Flam.

This is a very nice activity, an educational farm that is also a display for local produces. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. They love what they do, and you can feel it. They rescued some lambs and mini pigs that you can see. Food was great: a board of cured meat (lamb and pork), goat and brown cheese with a delicious apple sauce, and herrings, a typical lamb and vegetable stew, and carrot cake. Everything was incredibly good, also the amazing apple juice we drank. They also have local beers, of course. During the meal Daria explained the recipes, their traditions, and farming reality in Norway, in an interesting and pleasant way, and with lot of passion. It was an amazing experience, warmly recommended!

We visited the Fjord Farm just before the tourist season picked up. It was a good time to go because there were not a lot of other people there. We enjoyed the food tasting experience. We would have liked to do the music experience that they offer, but it had not started yet. Our guide was Daria, who is one of the owners of the farm. It is not really a working farm, but they have a number of cute animals, including some pigs, chickens, and several lambs. Daria told us about the history of the farm as well as the traditions of the farms in the area (such as where the summer and winter farms are and how important the sun is when you are so far north). The food was very nice and served as a bit of a late lunch for us. We started off with a selection of meats and cheeses. All of them were locally sourced and had good stories behind them. In particular, there was brown cheese, which is something of a "love it or hate it" experience. The cheese is made from the leftovers you get when you are done making regular cheese. After that, we had a bowl of stew (I forgot the name of it), which was quite tasty, and we finished with some dessert (carrot cake, I believe). All in all, Daria had a lot of good stories to tell and was able to answer all of our questions. Our family had a good time and heartily enjoyed the food. On the way out, we tried out the enormous swing that has a spectacular view of the fjord. It is destined to become an Instagram legend. If you are looking for something slightly different to do while in Flam, I highly recommend this tour.

We opted for a food tasting at the Flåm Fjord Farm and were greeted warmly by the owner. It was a small group of us (total 5 adults) and I think we all enjoyed it immensely. The food was delicious and the barn setting is lovely. Would recommend!

Nathan, our guide was fantastic, we enjoyed being close up to waterfalls and cliff faces. His knowlege about the area was so informative. The cheese tasting was an added bonus. All safety gear kept us dry and warm. Highly recommend.
