Night Accommodation
Pisac
Upon arrival at Cusco airport (we recommend booking a flight that arrives before midday), your team will meet you and begin your journey straight into the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Spending your first night in the Sacred Valley (at around 9,500 ft / 2,900 m) allows for a smoother acclimatization to the altitude, ensuring you start your adventure comfortably. As we drive through the valley, you’ll enjoy breathtaking landscapes of rolling mountains, rivers, and traditional Andean villages. Your first main stop will be the Pisac Archaeological Complex, one of the most extensive Inca sites in the region—larger in area than Machu Picchu itself. Explore its impressive agricultural terraces, ceremonial structures, and fortifications that crown the mountain. Afterward, you may choose to visit the colorful Pisac, famous for its handicrafts and local products, or stop at a charming llama and alpaca farm to learn about these Andean animals and their importance in Incan culture.
Night Accommodation
Sacred Valley
Your second-day adventure begins with pickup from your hotel around 8:00 – 8:30 AM (exact time will be confirmed the evening before). Your first stop will be the picturesque town of Chinchero, known for its breathtaking views of the Andes, vibrant weaving cooperatives where local families preserve ancient textile traditions, and its charming Inca ruins. Next, we continue to the mysterious Moray agricultural terraces, believed to have been an experimental Inca laboratory for testing crops at different altitudes. Afterward, we visit the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling patchwork of thousands of salt pools where locals have harvested salt since pre-Inca times. In the afternoon, we explore the remarkable Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, famous for its megalithic stone walls, temples, and breathtaking views over the valley. Walking through the cobblestoned streets of this “living Inca town” will transport you back in time. Continue to Aguas Calientes or Return to your hotel
Machupicchu
Get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your expert guide will lead you to the famous Guard House viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy the most iconic panorama of Machu Picchu. From there, embark on a detailed walking tour through the citadel, learning about its history, sacred temples, agricultural terraces, and the mystical legends surrounding this extraordinary site. For the adventurous, you may choose (with prior reservation and extra cost) to hike Huayna Picchu Mountain, a challenging climb that rewards you with breathtaking views of Machu Picchu from above. After your visit, return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a private transfer to Cusco, where your journey concludes.

This was a great way to get in all the sites of Sacred valley and Machu Picchu with very knowledgeable guidance to help you navigate, especially for Machu Picchu. The tour operator was fantastic! We had some issues in our planning and he worked for days to sort it out, and changed our schedule to fit everything in. The guide assigned to us was equally amazing. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. I am very glad that we did our first visit to Peru this way as it made life very easy. Would absolutely recommend 👌
