Fantastic tour to the South Coast with David, highly recommended. David really cared for the group on the tour and offered a really interesting, sometimes irreverent, commentary of the geology and history of Ireland with some diversions in to other more random topics like youth service in Iceland and Justin Bieber. Pick-up in Reykjavik was smooth and after a drive out to the South Coast with a break in between the tour takes you to Skogafoss with plenty of time to explore and get right close to the waterfall (and climb up to the top viewing point if are feeling energetic). Then onwards to Reynisfjara beach (the black sands beach) where David joined us to help navigate the beach safely. Lunch break was adequate in Vik with David providing excellent advice on options, we enjoyed an Icelandic lunch at the Ice Cave cafe. In the afternoon we walked up to the edge of the glacier with our guide providing context on the changing nature of the glacier as well as making sure we didn’t wander beyond the safe area. Then finally on to Seljalandsfoss, it is great that this is the last stop as going behind the waterfall even with waterproofs you get drenched but it was an amazing experience as was seeing the little slightly more secret waterfall, Gljúfrabúi. Overall a great experience but worth mentioning it does involve much more time in the minibus than the golden circle and a long day arriving back in to Reykjavik around 7pm.

We had the most amazing time during the private Golden Circle tour with Oscar who was our tour guide. The scenery was beautiful but what made it for us is ours tour guide Oscars knowledge and all the interesting facts we've learned. Definitely will be back to Iceland and for sure we will use Eastwest and Oscar to show us around this most amazing place!

Very scenic and fun tour despite t Hf e rainy weather. The tour guide Gonzalo was very thoughtful about how to make the most of the day given the rainy conditions.

Ride was in time. Simon was very informative, great sense of humor and informative. The information was not only on what we saw, but on the food, culture and other trips/attractions. Not easy to keep a group entertained for 10 hours, but he did it. We also did a bit extra from what I saw other similar companies. Another great trip. Thank you EastWest!

The South Coast tour was a wonderful experience! Oscar was so knowledgeable and kept us informed every step of the way. So many beautiful stops with history to take in. The mini bus was VERY comfortable, and there is WiFi available while traveling the whole day. Oscar even made stops for breaks and snacks as well. Highly recommend!

We did the South Coast Tour and loved it! We felt we had ample time at each stop as we were squeezing it into a short trip to Iceland. Carlos, our guide, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and showing photos/books/maps etc that really helped to bring the spirit of Iceland to life. My husband had previously been in the winter 10 years ago and still had a great day, the landscape looked very different in the different seasons and he was amazed by how the landscape had changed in that short time (i.e glacier receeding) We were picked up at a bus stop 3 mins from our hotel a- the commuication and pick up was very smooth and the bus was very comfortable.

We had such a wonderful experience on our South Coast Tour with Simon (Spicy Viking). We were able to enjoy waterfalls, glacier stops and lunch in the beautiful town of Vik before visiting the Black Sand Beach! This was the best way to experience so much in a one day tour and Simon kept us informed and entertained the entire way!
