What To Expect
Iximché (from kaqchikel ixim maize and ché tree, "maize tree") is an important Mayan archaeological site located in the highlands of Tecpán, Chimaltenango. It was the last capital of the Kaqchikel kingdom and, in 1524, the place where the Spaniards founded the first capital of Guatemala
Atitlan Nature Reserve
Lake Atitlan, located in Sololá, is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is a volcanic gem surrounded by three towering volcanoes (Atitlan, Tolimán and San Pedro) and a dozen colorful Mayan villages that offer a perfect blend of adventure, well-being and cultural richness.
