Our goal is to give you an authentic Norwegian hiking experience with traditional tasty food specialities like our famous Reindeer Stew.
Experience Trolltunga almost alone, without long queues. Enjoy sunset and sunrise in the high mountains of Hardangervidda National Park. Relax around campfire before you go to sleep in our top notch Fjällräven tents with warm sleeping mats.
We also do small detours which most hikers walk by, like a beautiful located waterfall where we have a scenic lunch and our sunset rock Preikestolen (the original) with the best view of the Ringedalsvatnet lake and valley. Our guides have walked in these mountains since childhood and love to show you the best of what this hike have to offer.

We’ll reach the Trolltunga Cliff when most people have returned to civiliazation. You’ll avoid the long queues. You’ll have all the time you want to capture the perfect photo out on Trolltunga with the beautiful Ringedalsvatnet lake and valley in the background.
Breakfast with a view, and a second photo session at Trolltunga, before we head back to civilization.

1.00I booked an overnight Trolltunga tour in June for two people (~€800). The tour was cancelled by the organizer due to unforeseen circumstances. I want to clarify that this review does not concern the quality of the tour or the experience itself, but is strictly related to the cancellation and refund policy applied in this situation. After the cancellation, I was offered an alternative tour that was not equivalent to what I had originally purchased. There was also persistent insistence that I accept this replacement option. I had travelled from another country specifically for this experience, having already booked flights and accommodation in Norway. I suggested an alternative solution, asking whether it would be possible to receive a voucher for the same overnight Trolltunga tour to use at a later date, but this was not accepted. Instead, the only option offered remained a different replacement tour. In my case, full payment had already been made, and a refund was not offered under the company’s policy. Additionally, in my country there is no type of individual excursion insurance that would cover this kind of situation, which meant that a refund was not a realistic option for me. Eventually, I was only able to recover the payment through my payment provider (Revolut). What disappointed me most was not only the financial aspect, but also the lack of flexibility in finding a fair solution for a prepaid experience I had been looking forward to for a long time. I am sharing this experience to inform future customers to carefully review the cancellation and refund policy before booking.

5.00A fantastic hike. Excellent professional and fun guides (Paul, Max, Hannes). I fully recommend this overnight hike. No rush to return and you get to see the Trolltunga early evening and early morning with no one else around. The guides took us to some special spots for lunch on day one and in the evening on day one. Food was first class and it was very special sitting around a camp fire with unforgettable vistas and great company. Tents and sleeping bags keep you warm and dry. Don’t hesitate to do this if you enjoy hiking and camping and the exceptional Norwegian outdoors.

5.00Despite Trolltunga being closed and poor weather. Paul and Ben’s expertise made it a fun and memorable experience. The hike itself was fun whilst challenging but better even the food and camp prepared by the guides afterwards. The traditional reindeer stew is one not to miss! I would recommend Trolltunga adventures for your next visit to Norway!

5.00This overnight trip had to be the trip of a lifetime in so many ways. Leaving a bit later than most allowed us to reach Trolltunga without any other hikers present. We had the rock to ourselves. Spending the night camping was something I haven't done in more years than I would care to mention and never in such serene surroundings. Reindeer stew for dinner and "oatmeal" for breakfast added to the uniqueness of the hike. Waking up and seeing the lake so far below was breathtaking. BUT, the best part of the hike was the guides, Asbjorn and Viktor. They were great guides and great conversationalists. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience, other than to add the hike was not difficult at all!

5.00A wonderful experience one of a kind adventure. Paul and Anker were great guides. It is a challenging hike, but the scenery, the guides, the camping location, food and the stories were outstanding. We followed the checklist of items to bring and it was critical as the weather can change dramatically. We had sun, wind and rain on the trip. A plus all the way.

5.00A whole through wonderful tour with the two fantastic guides, Mateusz and Joshua. We were eight and a half old friends, where the youngest is 58 and the oldest is 62. We got an incredibly high service, where Mateusz and Joshua guided us to unusual beautiful spots across Ringdalsvatten. It was a very special experience to stay on the mountain and wake up to the beautiful views and serving coffee and delicious porridge. The weather showed up from all sides, so we needed all kinds of clothes. It is highly recommended to go in a private group. Mateusz and Joshua were quick to blend into, and there was room for many good laughs and really nice atmosphere. Thank you.

5.00We did the private tour and it was worth every penny, it was nice to go at our own pace. Our guide was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. We loved all of the little side trips that everyone else walked by and didn’t notice. He was so positive, thoughtful and made the trip a true delight. The food was the best we have had in Norway, prepared by professional chefs who work at the cafe. We enjoyed eating traditional Norwegian food for all of our meals and snacks. Our camping spot had an incredible view and we enjoyed sitting on warm reindeer pelts by the fire while eating reindeer stew. The company that runs it is extremely organized and every little detail is well thought out and planned. We didn’t have to worry about anything.

They made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable while also sharing lots of knowledge and fun along the way. I highly recommend the Overnight Trip – spending the evening in such a stunning landscape and waking up to sunrise at Trolltunga is truly magical. 5.00Back from our wonderful vacation in Norway, we would like to share our experience of hiking to Trolltunga. We didn't want to do the day hike, so we joined the overnight guided tour led by Julia, Jim, and Lukas. We were in a group of 12 participants and had so much fun hiking up the mountain. At some point, Julia and Lukas broke away and hiked ahead to the camp to surprise us with a sensational reindeer stew when we arrived there. Jim then led the group on his own and did a great job. It must be said that the conditions for hiking were really not ideal: continuous rain, low temperatures, and storms accompanied us almost the entire time, but Jim kept us in good spirits with snacks, coffee, sandwiches, and encouraging words, and made sure that we were all doing well at all times — simply fantastic! Even when we arrived at the camp completely soaked and half frozen, the mood remained good and we laughed a lot and were proud to have reached our destination – the Trolltunga. The night was terrible for most of us, as it rained and stormed continuously, giving us a sleepless night; but we were then surprised the next morning with breakfast in the tent before starting our hike down again at 8 a.m., still in pouring rain. It was a unique adventure that we would repeat anytime – thanks to the nice group, but above all thanks to the guides (Julia, Jim, Lukas) who made this trip an unforgettable experience – thank you very much!!!
