What To Expect
Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a friendly team of local guides all with Cypriot heritage. A group of true foodies, our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine... You’ll be driven around the Troodos mountain villages to visit 4 carefully selected wineries. Each boutique winery you'll visit is family-owned and you'll have the chance to meet the individuals behind the wine-making and have all your questions answered on this brilliant small group excursion. You'll tour the premises of at least two of the wineries to learn about the process and history of wine. Through each tasting session you'll discover the indigenous grape varieties of the island and experience a selection of whites, rosés and reds.

We'll pick you up from a Paphos location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. 5.00It’s a small group which I preferred. Elena was fantastic and attentive. The views are beautiful. The lunch was a very good representation of local cuisine. I would strongly consider this if you want a day away from the beach.

5.00If you like wine and want to find out a bit more about the growing of the grapes and the different processes they use to make the wine, this is the tour for you. It stopped in a lovely little village in the mountains where we had the opportunity to buy hand made local souvenirs. Paul, our guide was very chatty and informative, and took us to 3 wineries in the mountains where we tried 4 - 6 wines at each one while being given information on them at the same time. We could also buy them too if we wished. If you want to get away from the tourist areas and visit a little of true Cyprus, this trip is certainly worth doing.

5.00Excellent day out. Pick up as arranged at our hotel. 2 winery visits before lunch - first was excellent with a good tour with the gentleman who worked there. The second more wine and an excellent opportunity to get to know our fellow passengers. A brilliant meze lunch came next followed by a wander round the nearby village. One final stop for more wine and chat. Our guide Paul was excellent and made sure we got the best out of our day. Would highly recommend.

5.00Wow. I booked this tour as a 'date day' for myself and my partner, and what a wonderful way it was, to spend time together. The tour did not disappoint. Dimitri was our guide and he was amazing. So friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to have with us on our tour. We stopped at 3 different wineries, staggered throughout the mountains. All within very picturesque surroundings. We stopped at a local neighborhood for some typical Cypriot food and it was delicious. There was plenty to go around. We were also served wine with our lunch. This is a very worthwhile trip if you like great wine, good food and even better company. Highly recommend. It's been the hilight of our trip.

5.00Fantastic day and increadable value. Our guide for the day was Elena, who was great and provided lots of information and insights about the places we visited and areas we passed though. We visited three Wineries, all distictly different but equally good. We learnt about thewine making process in Cyprus and tasted many good quality wines. We stopped for lunch in a village taverna for a full meat meze seved with more local wines..this was increadible, so much food but every dish was delightful, and again Elena gave us extra information about each dish. Great value...plenty of drinks and food to keep anyone full and happy. Would 100% book this again and reccomended it to anyone we me for the rest of our trip! A nice touch that you get an e-mail a week later to download photos taken by our guide throughout the day...wonderful memories!

5.00What a great day we had. We were picked up at the agreed place and time by our guide Christina. She could tell us all about the island, the inhabitants and the wines during the day trip. We visited 3 wineries, where we got to taste different wines. In the afternoon we got an extensive mezze lunch. Traditional Greek. Too much to eat and very tasty! During the tour you will drive through the small villages in the troodos mountains. At the end of the day we were dropped off at our hotel again. This tour is definitely recommended!

5.00A great day out! Looking around a winery and being told about the different processes and stages of the grapes from vineyard to glass. Plenty of delicious wines to sample from different makers along the way and a wonderful mezze lunch too. We had a great guide who was happy to answer any questions and show us around the villages.
