Sea kayaking is a great way to experience the magic of Ningaloo. Join us for a half day sea kayak and snorkel adventure in Ningaloo Reef's nursery, the wildlife-rich Bundegi Sanctuary Zone. Spot turtles, rays, and baby reef sharks in the shallows, and take the opportunity to snorkel from your kayak amongst the sheltered coral reef.
Small group sizes mean our guides can customise our tours to our guests. Group sizes are usually capped at a maximum of 8 guests, but groups of up to 16 guests can be catered for.

What To Expect
We'll pick you up from your Exmouth accommodation and make the short drive (10 minutes) to our tour launch point in the Bundegi Sanctuary Zone, amongst the northern stretches of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. Upon arrival, we'll kit you out with all the gear you'll need, and after a quick familiarisation with your kayak and a safety briefing, we'll head out for a paddle. Look for juvenile turtles, rays, schools of fish and even baby reef sharks in the shallows from your kayak in this area known as Ningaloo's nursery. After some kayaking, we'll head a little way offshore and tie off to some 'kayak only' snorkel moorings to slip over the side of your kayak and explore the coral reef and amazing underwater life, including schools of fish and green turtles. The kayaking and snorkelling is suitable for novices, with our experienced guides on hand to point out interesting creatures and make you feel at ease. A snack stop on the beach gives the opportunity to rest and refuel.

5.00We enjoyed our kayak and snorkelling tour with Alan and Jules. They were well organised, professional and fun to be with and had lots of interesting information to share during the day. The snorkelling spot was excellent and the mangroves with baby rays ad sharks was an amazing experience. We thought the picnic snack was perfect too.

5.00Amazing morning sea kayaking and snorkelling! Nat was an awesome guide, incredibly knowledgeable about Exmouth and its marine life. She was incredibly accommodating for all swimming abilities and made sure we had the best time. We saw turtles, rays and loads of beautiful fish. Definitely recommend as one of the best ways to explore the reef as a beginner snorkeler!

5.00Such a great (half) day out. Beginners and experienced kayakers/snorkellers alike are welcome and catered for. I really appreciated the kayaking tips and tricks as a raw beginner! Don’t hesitate to join as a solo traveller either - you’ll not feel like an extra wheel (paddle?), and it’s a real treat to do activities like this that you normally can’t do alone.

5.00It was a lot of fun to kayak and snorkel on a reef. We saw lots of baby reef shark, rays and fish. I watched a symbiotic relationship between a prawn and gobi fish. The Gobi fish guarded the burrow and the prawn dug the hole. Great day,

5.00Had the most fantastic time on this tour yesterday with Rosie! My friend and I had both done this tour in previous occasions but neither of us had been to the particular spot that we went to. All the equipment provided is excellent quality and instructions were very clear and Rosie made sure we all had plenty of time in the water to enjoy the fabulous marine life including the beautiful turtles. Followed by yummy snacks and gentle paddle back, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough!!!

5.00Had an amazing time at turquoise bay all due to our tour guide Colton. Me and my partner first time snorkelling along with being poor swimmers but still got to see everything. Colton helped me and my partner with aid of floats join in to the fullest. He was a machine in the water. Great experience seeing all the sea life including a cowtail ray and turtles and an abundance of fish and coral 10/10.

5.00Really well organised, friendly and informative day. Our guide, Kolton, made everyone feel welcome, safe and ready to go. We didn't see a turtle during the snorkel but there was plenty of other marine life to see. During the kayak back to shore, there were a couple of turtles swimming around and a reef shark. Afternoon snacks on the beach were delicious and my dietary needs were well met! Thanks for a fun day out team!!
