What To Expect
Las Vegas
We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

Amazing Tour with Trez and Bernice

5.00My wife and I made vacation reservations for Las Vegas. We booked this tour through Viator. The price was great, and they had a date that fit into our schedule. The day of the tour, the bus showed up promptly on time, verified we were on the right tour, and left promptly to not delay the tour. The bus was clean, comfortable, and had the amenities we needed. We were constantly provided bottles of water whenever we needed them. Trez with Comedy on Deck Tours introduced himself and our driver, Bernice. Trez was AMAZING. He had a natural humor that was neither forced nor over the top. He kept us engaged, interacted with us, was pleasant, and kept us laughing the entire time. Bernice was a very attentive operator. Having Trez interact with guests ensured she could focus on getting us around safely. We truly appreciated this. The stop at the Las Vegas sign was great. Trez gave us tips to avoid the crowd. Be warned, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign is smaller than you would expect, but Trez's history of the sign told us why. Stopping at the O'Callaghan-Tillman Bridge was a treat. You could take in great views as well as get a high overview of the impressiveness of the Hoover Dam. The tour of the Hoover Dam was informative, easy to get around and walk through, and inspiring to see from the inside. I do wish, though, the tour included the more extended tour instead of just seeing the intake pipes and the generator room. It seemed like there was another tour option that allowed you to see more of the inward workings of the Dam. I like history and I felt like I wanted to see more. The walk on the top was awe inspiring, being able to see the greatness of Lake Mead on one side and then how insignificant the Colorado River looked on the other side. It had breathtaking views and gave us memories to cherish forever. The stop for lunch/dinner on the way back was a much needed refreshment before getting back to Las Vegas. The Omlet House may seem small and lower scale that you would think, but the food was amazing. Before you get there, you are provided with the food and drink options while still on the bus. They then call the order in to the restaurant. When you get there, they already have space for the tour group prepared. No need to wait on placing orders and receiving food because they got that info on the bus before you get there. So, you pretty much get to go in, sit down, eat, and get out in about 35 minutes, which is pretty efficient for a group of like 30-ish people. There were about 6-8 options you could choose from on the meal card. I had the burger and my wife had the pasta. Both meals were yummy and filling. Again, a much needed pit stop before returning. On the drive back to Las Vegas, Trez talked about the comedy club he is associated with. Tickets for free admission were given out, if you wanted a free stand-uo comedy show to accompany your visit. All in all. This was an amazing tour. Professional and courteous comedian tour guide. Clean and comfortable bus operated by a safety driven operator. Great stops with amazing views. Nice food pit stop. Memories made to take about for years.

5.00The tour was fantastic, we were picked up at the hotel, ON TIME (important). Even though it was a comedy tour on board, the information from an historical view was superb. Trevor (Trace) was a very good host and he answered all our questions. Lunch was good, but, my complain here.... the place is called Omelette House, but no omelette offered.

5.00We recently took the Hoover Dam excursion with Comedy On Deck Tours, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Our guide, Trez, was outstanding. He kept the whole group entertained with his great sense of humour while sharing interesting facts and information throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, making the experience both fun and informative. A special mention also goes to Wayne, our driver, who did an excellent job getting us to and from the Hoover Dam safely. His driving was smooth and professional, and we felt completely comfortable throughout the journey and constantly offering us bottle of waters. The Hoover Dam itself was incredible. Learning about the history behind this amazing feat of engineering was fascinating, and seeing it up close was truly impressive. We also stopped at the Omelet House for lunch. The staff were friendly and served us quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend the burger it was good. Overall, this was a well-organised and enjoyable excursion. Between the excellent guide, safe transportation, great food, and the incredible sights of the Hoover Dam, it was a memorable day out. I would highly recommend Comedy On Deck Tours to anyone looking for a fun and informative Hoover Dam tour.
