What To Expect

Via Ferrata del Colodri

A beautiful path that leads from the most famous walls of Arco to the top of Mount Colodri, ideal for beginners and families. At the top you will be surprised by the wonderful view of Lake Garda. Originally this equipped path was used by climbers to descend once they reached the top of the streets below. Now the descent passes between the olive grove and an old Via Crucis. On the way back we can decide together whether to take an alternative route or try to climb.

We relied on the organization of MMove for the week dedicated to the bachelorette party of my future sister-in-law! Saturday electric mountain bike rental, from Arco to Lake Ledro and back... spectacular views! Sunday, despite the uncertain weather, Colodri ferrata led by the legendary Mauro! What about, a week certainly out of the ordinary but.... unforgettable! Thank you to all the staff!

Great first encounter with a via ferrata. We chose a track of medium difficulty with amazing panoramic views of Lake Garda. Our guide Matteo was fantastic, he made sure we felt save at all times, and was a great storyteller as well! Overall an amazing experience!

To get a first start on climbing the mountains around Arco, we decided to take the guided tour on Via Ferrata Colodri. The special thing about MMove is that the tours are conducted without a minimum number of participants. We received useful information about the tour in advance and were kindly reminded of the date. Fortunately for us, we were the only participants, probably due to the off-season (mid-October), and so enjoyed the exclusive private tour. Our mountain guide was very competent and right at the beginning there was a precise introduction to the equipment. Then it was ready to go. Thanks to Matteo’s tips and instructions, the ascent went smoothly. He even encouraged us to hang in our belts, braced on the rock, and enjoy this feeling. With good explanations to the viewpoints and some laughter we were felt, far too fast on the summit and were rewarded with a wonderful view. This could have been a longer climb. On the descent we were able to get a quick taste of rope climbing on the rock face, which made us want to do the next activity. A special thank you goes to our mountain guide for the good photos he took of us during the tour and sent us by email afterwards. So the tour will be remembered for a long time. Conclusion: If you are near Arco, you should not miss the tour. Certainly in the other months the demand is higher, so reserve in time. Booking is also possible online without any complications.
