Start the day at sea, with a 3 hour adventure in the North Atlantic. Keep your eyes peeled for the breaching flukes of a number of whale species, most notably Minke and Orca. Our passionate guides will keep you entertained while we search for these elusive creatures.
The waters here are also home to dolphins, seals and sea-birds.
After a hopefully successful sighting, jump aboard our bus for your afternoon Golden Circle Tour. We stop at all the classic stops, including Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Springs and Gullfoss Waterfall.

What To Expect
Reykjavik
Embark on a whale watching boat tour from Reykjavík historic Old Harbour. This 3 hour adventure takes you far out from Fáxaflóa bay to the cold waters of the North Atlantic. Fantastic Whale watching! Golden circle not so great.

3.00The Whale watching trip was fantastic, we saw a humpback whale within half an hour of the tour starting and the guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. Would definitely recommend whale watching with Special Tours. However the Golden circle which was operated by Bustravel Iceland was less organised. Our guide didn’t seem to know what he was talking about most the time, such as opening times of restaurants or facilities. We were also told that we couldn’t visit one of the stops because it was too late in the day and would be closed. However we went ourselves at the same time the next day and it was fully open. It all seemed very disorganised. I’m not sure I’d recommend this part of the tour as it doesn’t seem worth the money.

5.00Fabulous few hours on Elding boat. 2 humpback whales kept us entertained for the whole trip. The golden circle was amazing and our tour guide Denis was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Iceland. Giving us great information between stops
