Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

Fantastic experience with our tour guide Robert and driver Kalvin! Robert made it super interesting for the entire 12 hour trip. Coach was comfortable , sights were fascinating and we learned so much about the history of London, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford that we didn’t expect to learn! Highly recommend!

It is rushed. Our tour was done in English and spanish. Stonehenge is overrated. Windsor and the surrounding town was nice.

Trip was overbooked -the bus was packed not one free seat had to sit away from family. Hot and not very clean. This would all be fine if this excursion did not have 6 hours of bus travel in one day. Would not recommend.

Nice coach, experienced guide and good driver. Every point has just right enough time so it’s a bit tight but that’s pretty much what can be done in one day for 3 distant places. All the historical points were gorgeous.

Our guide was Angela and the driver Christian - what a delightful pair! Angela is very knowledgeable and kept us captivated all the time. Christian is gentle and good humoured. Definitely one of the best guided tours we had! Our day trip with 2 kids was really enjoyable.

We had a very nice trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford! Angela (tour guide) was very nice as well as clear about what would happen, which we appreciated. Christian (bus driver) was very friendly too. I wish we had more time at each stop, however, but such is the case when you are trying to get to 3 places outside of London. Overall, great time!
