Excellent. Extremely informative personable guide. We learnt absolutely loads. Made a really pleasant change from the usual ghosts & gholied tours.

Fascinating tour of the "back alleys" of York. Our guide Ross is knowledgeable and very enthusiastic to share his knowledge of all these byways around central York some going right back into the early 14th century. It gives you glimpses into how York developed as a township and then became a bustling mercantile centre. If the history of York interests you then so will this tour.
