Sarah was an incredible guide!! She knew a lot of great information and knew great places to check out in the park. It was so nice having her to drive us around so we could just relax and take in the amazing views. I would highly recommend this tour!

The option that was presented to us was to either sleep in a tent or stay at the hotel near the campgrounds. One would expect that by choosing the hotel option, you would have the ability to eat at the hotel restaurant, and not under a tent outside, while it's raining. Nowhere in the brochure did it mention that all meals would be outside/under a tent, with only one choice of food to eat. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the national park, and the views were spectacular.

I will start by defining my own perception of this tour: I LOVED IT! However, there are important distinctions that you must understand of what happens in this tour. Accommodation: I was surprised to learn that a single group can have mixed accommodations, from a 11 people group, I was the only one in the lodge accommodation, the remaining members camped, this created that separation barrier that felt kinda awkward since I was the only one being “posh”. Be aware that the camping tents are easy to set but simple: Sleeping bag and pad. That’s it, no pillow. The lodge is a fully fledged roadside motel-style room, beds, TV, Aircon(very loud!) and an individual bathroom with shower, very spacious and comfortable! Group dynamics: First dinner is made by the group according to the description, but not quite really, everything(including protein) is already cooked, you pretty much just will heat your food in the provided stove, with everyone else and eat together. You are welcome to skip it if you want and eat at the restaurant in the lodge, but that’s not included and on you. You will be welcomed to do a daily campfire experiences, making toasted marshmallows, s’mores and just chatting, this heavily depends on the group dynamics, my group was full of young and energetic people, so that’s something we did, but depending on what your group composition is, this might be very different. Hikes: We did daily hikes, you are welcome to do it on your own pace, follow the guide, go by yourself or just do whatever as long as you arrive at the meeting point in the agreed time. Our guide Tristen was very transparent: Follow me for a guided pace and chats or do your own thing, just be mindful of others. This worked very well for our group, each small group did its own thing and we shared our experiences! We did a total of 3 big hikes: One in the first day, another on the second day and a final one on the third day. Be mindful that all is optional, if you wanna sit down, do a different hike or whatever, it’s up to you! Personally I chose to do extensive hikes all 3 days and everyone did different things in their own paces. Food: It’s pretty much dependent on your groups dietary restrictions and guide choices, for us it was chicken tacos on first night, sandwiches for lunch and bagels for breakfast. It’s simple but enough carbs and protein to fuel demanding hikes. You are welcome to eat in local places but they are of course, not included. The included meals and food available are provided by the guide and assembled by you, feel free to assemble sandwiches or other things to eat during hikes, free time or at your own discretion. Be mindful that food provided is limited and day 2 dinner and day 3 lunch is NOT included, but you are welcome to craft sandwiches and bagels from the included food to eat at those moments. Proposal: This might sound like a luxury experience from the description, but make no mistake, it is not. It’s a simple camp experience/simple lodge experience with access to designated driver to the park. My initial booking experience came in expecting a luxury tour, but after arriving, I understood that it was not, but you know what? I loved it even more! I managed to experience that true American camping experience that you only see in the movies! It was even better than what I expected and honestly, if I did a luxury individual experience, I would’ve never meet so many amazing people, from different parts of the world and experienced something so different that I grew up watching on movies. I’m grateful for the experience, it was challenging, awesome and connecting, so, if you are willing to do a true American camping experience, book this! If you kinda want that experience WITHOUT dealing with the camping part, get the lodging, you will still be able to experience the campfires, group cooking and connections!

What an amazing experience. The 3 day trip allowed us to visit parts of Yosemite up higher which can’t be done with just 1 day trip. Our guide Ben was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable, helpful, made the trip so much fun. If you consider this 3 day trip, grab a pair of binoculars so u can see the climbers on El Capitan.

Phil was an exceptional guide, driver and logistics manager. We do enjoyed our time in Yosemite with 12 other people in the van…and we don't typically do yours. This was great. Yosemite experience unforgettable. Thanks!👍🌈

Annie the guide was very approachable, accommodating and knowledgeable. Brilliant! She and the trip catered for all needs/interests/abilities. Yosemite Park speaks for itself - incredible. Sufficient food was available with also flex to purchase your own things where need be. The only thing that could be improved is to almost be a bit stricter with attendees on timing…felt like there was a bit of hanging around - particularly in the mornings.
