White Pocket is a truly unique, otherworldly escape where swirling sandstone glows in smoky reds, oranges, and whites.
Getting there is half the adventure! Choose to follow your guide through sandy backcountry trails in a UTV, rallying across remote desert terrain. The journey is unforgettable.
Once you arrive, it feels like stepping onto another planet. Explore this mesmerizing landscape with your guide while learning about the geology and discovering stunning formations like hexagonal white rock patterns and deep red swirls—a photographer’s dream.
A single booking for 6 guests includes one 4-seat UTV for guest driving, with 2 guests riding as passengers with the guide. To have two UTVs for a group of 6, please make two separate bookings: one for 4 guests and one for 2 guests.
No permit required. Located in the incredible Vermilion Cliffs National Monument—also home to the Wave!

Children must be 5 years old to be on the UTVs
You must be 21 years or older to drive the UTV. Anyone that does not have their Driver License with them will not be able to drive.
For UTVs Only:
Polaris requires everyone 18 years or older to bring their government issued ID with you for waiver purposes, whether you are a driver or just a rider.

UTV - YOU DRIVE!!
4-Person UTV: Up to 4 People. Children must be at least 5 years old to participate.
What‘s Included
Groups of 6 get one 4-seat UTV; 2 ride with guide.
Our guides will have a cooler full of water for the group. We recommend bringing a small backpack to carry water for the hiking portion of the tour.
We provide helmets and goggles for guests. Helmets are mandatory.
Face covering (recommended) offered for sale in office for $3 each or 2 for $5
Always Appreciated by your Guide!!
Renter is responsible for up to $3000 in damages. Polaris will cover the rest. You can lower that responsibility to $1500 for an optional $25 “buydown fee” per machine.
You will want to pack a lunch and snacks for this full day tour.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Becca H. at Kanab Tour Company was an absolute standout and played a huge role in making my adventure to White Pocket unforgettable. The landscape itself feels almost unreal—otherworldly rock formations, swirling sandstone, and scenery that seems pulled from another planet—but what elevated the experience was Becca. From the start, this never felt like a scripted or cookie-cutter tour. There was a genuine effort to understand what I wanted from the day and shape the experience around my interests, pace, and curiosity. It had a personalized, bespoke feel that made me feel like a participant in an adventure rather than simply a passenger on a tour. Becca has that rare combination of expertise and humility. Her knowledge of the terrain, geology, routes, and hidden details of the area was incredibly impressive, but she shared it with such an easygoing and grounded style that nothing ever felt forced or rehearsed. She quietly inspires confidence and somehow makes complex terrain feel approachable while keeping the day relaxed and fun. And just as important, she was genuinely wonderful company. Long days exploring places as remote as these are about much more than logistics. Becca brought warmth, humor, friendliness, and a calm energy that made me feel like I was exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than simply following a guide. There’s something special about the outdoor culture around Kanab—people who are adventurous, deeply connected to these landscapes, and refreshingly authentic—and Becca embodies that spirit perfectly. Cool without trying, highly capable without needing to prove it, and completely grounded. White Pocket was spectacular beyond words (IMHO much better than the Wave!) , but people create memories w Kanab Tours. Becca transformed an already incredible destination into one of those experiences I’ll be talking about long after the red sand has disappeared from my boots. I’d recommend her in a heartbeat.
