The canyon walls narrow to about 5 feet in sections and waterfalls as high as 20 feet. You will climb in the infamous ladder to the top of the first waterfall and continue on. There will be multiple small obstacles to get to final third waterfall but your guide will assist to get everyone up safely. We will provide canyon boots, neoprene socks and hiking pole to comfortably hike in and out of the creek. - Due to increased visitation, permits are now required for this hike and can be impossible to get in peak-season. The Narrows Hike is one of three bucket list hikes in Zion, and the only one that doesn't require a permit unless you plan to camp miles upriver. The slot canyon is deep and very dramatic with spectacular and sometimes surprising views the entire way. The dry trail in and out is flat, and paved but astonishingly beautiful. In addition, wading in the water provides a low impact core workout. At one point along the way there is a giant boulder in the river that is perfect for posed picture taking, there are warm-water springs all along the way, tiny birds that walk underwater, hundreds of trees damaged by rockfall, the world's tiniest snail, and water seeping out of solid rock. Skirting the east boarder of Zion National Park, we take you through the dune like area known as Elephant Alcove compete with plenty of off road driving. Once to the trail head, Rock Canyon offers a delightful experience with four rappels, including a stunning 110-foot descent into a captivating alcove. How does one even begin to describe Bryce Canyon? One of a kind. Something only dreamed up. In short, Bryce is a high alpine plateau in Southern Utah with pink limestone spires called Hoodoos. These colors are so vibrant they hardly seem real. Standing on the edge and looking into the vast valley of the Sevier River is a jaw-dropping experience! The adjacent Dixie National Forest land features UTV trail routes that allow us to view and visit very remote overlooks. These routes piece together a hiking trail system that is over 80 miles long called the Grandview Trail. These trails are segmented loops that are only accessible from these forest roads. Your tour wanders through the twisting forest and small streams to reach the edge of the fantastic Sunset Cliffs of Bryce. Please note that although this tour does not enter into Bryce Canyon National Park, the views gained through touring in this way are some that few visitors will see.
