Our drivers are not official tour guides, but they are knowledgeable and can provide fascinating commentary in fluent English. Although they will not enter the archaeological sites with you, they can answer all of your questions about the places you visit with this tour.
Third party activities and especially extreme sports are not allowed during the tour. This can be a cause for immediate cancellation of the tour.

Arachova
Arachova is a mountain town and a former municipality in the western part of Boeotia, Greece, originally called Karyai (also spelled Caryae). Its name is of South Slavic origin and denotes a place with walnut trees. It is a tourist destination due to its location in the mountains, its traditions, and its proximity to the town of Delphi. Arachova has a panoramic view, uphill small houses, and the cobbled streets show a picturesque architecture. The town center includes a huge and steep cliff, the Bell Tower, covered with dense ivy. At the top of the tower is a large 10m height clock. Arachova is famous for its black wine, its "brusque", the colorful textiles, carpets and rugs, handicrafts, and woodcut creations as well.

5.00Alex provides a very professional, comfortable and informative ride to the amazing Delphi site and museum. Alex was very knowledge about what to expect and do once we got there. Be sure to take Alex's recommendation for lunch spots-- some great food and amazing views of the valley below. What a wonderful way to spend a day... especially without having to worry about driving, parking, etc.!
A must see but take note that it does not include a tour of the Oracle.

4.00It was a wonderful experience and the driver was great. I would recommend that one should notice that a tour of the Oracle is not included. We thought for the price that it was included. We just didn't read the small print. For what we paid for 4 people we could have rented a car and booked a tour for a fraction of the cost.

We had so much fun at the tour and ate at a truly authentic Greek restaurant George took us. My three kids love the trip! Car is very comfortable and spacious for us family of five. Highly recommend!!!

5.00Costa was our driver/guide to Delphi. Loved his passion for Greece, in general, and could hear in his enthusiasm and explanations how proud he was to share its history and culture. He shared the history, mythology, and gave us language lessons. The mountain area outside of Athens was a welcomed surprise. Delphi was extraordinary, and I highly recommend seeing/visiting this ancient area. It’s well worth the drive.

5.00What a great day trip from Athens! Our driver Alex was amazing - very knowledgeable, focused on making sure we had a fabulous experience, including a wonderful restaurant suggestion for lunch with a breathtaking view! We suggest scheduling an early departure to help avoid traffic and beat the tour buses to the sites. Alex was able to drop us off right at entrance gates and our small group size allowed us to efficiently visit many sites at our own pace. Would definitely use this group again!

I can't say enough good things about our guide, Panos, who was very informative - pointing out things along our drive and giving us the history and backstory of places. After seeing the museum and archaeological site of Delphi, he took us to a fantastic restaurant in the town of Delphi to have lunch. We dined on an open-air patio that overlooked the valley below - very picturesque, as well as great food and service. The car we rode in had wi-fi, which was really nice since it was a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. We enjoyed Panos so much that we requested him for another tour later in our trip!
