As long time Queen fans from the 70s we were apprehensive if this tour would be good or not. It was FANTASTIC. Two and a half hours of amazing pics and stories about Freddie and Queen that we had never heard/seen before while seeing the actual places brought to life. At the start you are given an audio/visual phone type device and headphones by guide Lucien. The audio/video commentary used throughout the tour is by Peter Phoebe Freestone Freddie's personal assistant and is superb. The guide Lucien and his family have put the tour together with Phoebe and it shows in the superb content. Lucien walks you to the actual places and adds extra comments to Phoebe's audio commentary and answers questions (he is very knowledgeable). Many exclusive pics are shown of the hotels, venues etc and pic of Freddie and Queen at the venues from the 70s and 80s as they were at that time. So many moving and spine tingling experiences like the wall outside the Mountain studio back door with fan comments (and adding our own with Lucien's pens) and walking along the lake while Winters Tale is playing with Freddie's words about the actual place you are at. So poignant and tear jerking. The stories and places were so real and exclusive to the tour. Lucien gets entry to all the places the action actually happened at from the Hotels to the venue where Queen played in 84 and 86. Note the tour goes into the studio exhibition in the casino but doesn't stop for long so make sure you go back on your own to take time there. One of the most tear jerking parts is looking across the lake to the apartment Freddie owned and left only 14 days before his death then the walk back with Winters tale playing. We have done so many Queen things from the many Freddie and Queen concerts, taking part in the I want to break free and Friends will be Friends videos, to the Queen conventions in England with Jackie and Holland but this tour ranks as one of the best Queen experiences we have ever done. There is also a one hour tour for those who want a quicker version. But for those of us who are mega fans it MUST be the two and a half hour tour. If you are long term big Queen fan you MUST take this tour. You will not be disappointed. Lucien and family and Phoebe, thanks to you for this tour.

Exceptional both in the explanations and in all the information received, as well as in the exceptional places we were able to enter, and in the panorama during the 2.5-hour walk. And the wonderful surprise at the end where we were able to meet Peter Freestone.

Amazing and unique authentic insight into the life of Freddie Mercury, a true legend. Only a handful of people can shred this experience. I have been a fan of Queen, Freddie Mercury for about 45 years and have ready many books etc. on their story. This trip and its location is perfect to get an insight to what Freddie was really like. Beautifully delivered in a relaxed and professional way. Visit to the Duck House is not included in the walk, but you can walk to it in about 20 minutes privately. The Queen Experience is not part of the tour; it is free and you should definitely allow time to visit, especially the studio room ! Highly Recommended !!

This is a must do for any Queen fan, it is fantastic, full of interesting facts about the music scene in Montreux, our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about all things Freddie, all flat walking and very easy, it takes you into places that the general public cannot go, I recommend the full extended tour, absolutely worth doing and all in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake, worth every penny. Awesome, thank you for a fab experience, sadly don't remember the name of our friendly tour guide.

We had a holiday of a few days in Montreux because of Queen fans. Therefore also visited many things and locations of Queen and Freddie’s footsteps. Of course I walked past the statue daily and sat in the sun and sunset. Nice location.
