5.00I had an absolutely fantastic 4.5-hour Colombian cooking class in Bogotá, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in Colombia. The experience started with a visit in a homely atmosphere, where we learned about traditional Colombian ingredients, fruits, herbs, and spices. As someone who enjoys learning about local culture through food, this was fascinating. Our instructor Christina👍 was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about Colombian cuisine, making the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. Back in the kitchen, we prepared several authentic Colombian dishes from scratch. Every step was explained clearly, and I appreciated how hands-on the class was. Even with participants of different cooking abilities, everyone felt comfortable and involved. I learned techniques, cooking tips, and cultural stories behind each dish that I would never have discovered on my own. What made the experience especially memorable was the warm and friendly atmosphere. It felt less like a class and more like cooking with friends. Sharing the meal we had prepared together was the perfect ending to an amazing afternoon. During the class you have the chance to learn about ingredients, stories, tastes, people in a very intense way.
