Our tour guide- Gabor provided wonderful insights and knowledge on the Gruyere Cheese factory and Chocolate (Callier) factory. Also on our 1.5 hour drive from Geneva to the Cheese and chocolate factories he pointed out landmarks and interesting facts along the way as we experienced the lovely scenery! Highlights -The Medieval Village of Gruyère Cheese and its history. The chocolate factory which reminded me of the Willy Wonka factory entering the different rooms and the doors would close after you… Recommend the Alien cafe and HR Giger museum a must visit if you’re a Sci fi fan and enjoyed the Alien movies!

Gabor was our tour guide and he was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history of The Gruyère castle, the Gruyère cheese factory and the chocolate factory along with the sightseeing along the way! If / when we come back to Geneva, we would request him again!

Gruyere is highly recommended. It’s such a lovely medieval town. And the cheese and chocolate factory visit were very interesting. The only problem was that we were told on the phone that lunch was included and it was not. We would have done the other trip with a train ride instead.

This was a nice trip out of Geneva with our guide Gabor in a comfortable minivan. The Gruyère cheese factory tour was informative including samples. The visit to Gruyère Castle was very scenic and the chateau was set up to imagine the history of the place. Views were stunning. Topping that off with a visit to the Callier chocolate factory was perfect. They have a unique tour experience and there is no shortage of product to sample. This was a nice way to spend the day in the Geneva Lake region.

This was a very nice day for a day trip out of Geneva. Our guide Gabor was very nice and knowledgeable. The small group was a nice bonus after a whole week with 34 people on the bus. We loved the cheese factory, the castle visit, the lunch and the chocolate. Even with the unexpected event in the area and road restrictions, Gabor found a way to get us to everything. We loved the tour.

Our tour to the Gruyère cheese factory and chocolate factory with Gabor, was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect mix of beautiful Swiss scenery, fascinating local culture, and delicious tastings. Seeing how authentic Gruyère cheese is made was incredibly interesting, and the interactive exhibits made the experience both educational and fun. The chocolate factory was equally wonderful—learning about the chocolate-making process and sampling the fresh chocolate was a highlight of the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Switzerland—it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts of our trip! Book early as this tour will sell out. Unfortunately for us it did, but we were able to book a private tour for an additional fee. Gabor our tour guide was very accommodating!
