What a lovely day we had with “Harley” and “Wally” not to forget Rachel (not an alpaca!) who was so knowledgeable and friendly and made our day even better. Definitely recommend this unique experience 😀😀

Lovely couple of hours spent at Wetley Moor Alpacas with the grandchildren. Weather was perfect and the children loved spending time with these gorgeous animals. The children walked two of the younger alpacas Dexter and Charlie and after the walk were able to feed them. We also had the small animal experience added on where the children were able to hold and cuddle the rabbits, guinea pigs and tortoise 🐢 Well worth the money.

This was a surprise birthday present for my partner. We were advised that the donkeys can be very stubborn and you need to use your strength and have the confidence to usher them along otherwise they just won't move. Fortunately with the expert safety advice from Rachel and with the brilliant guidance from Jacob, we walked around the beautiful common. Because the common is shared by dog walkers and other people, you do need to make sure you listen to the instructions given. But with Rachel and Jacob making sure everyone was safe, the animals were well looked after.

Rachel was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting information about the alpacas including their various personalities. The experience was bought for my parents and they loved it!

After doing the Alpaca experience at Wetly More, we decided to return to do the Donkey experience. Walking with the Donkeys over the moors, before feeding them was absolutely amazing and thanks to Rachel and her dedicated, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, we were able to have so much fun and take lots of photos to create so many magical memories which we'll treasure forever. I'd definitely recommend a visit and can't wait to return.

My friend bought me a voucher for my birthday in November, had a week off so decided to use the voucher. My love of donkeys made me choose the donkey walk. Arrived to a very pleasant member of staff who gave us the rules n regs to read prior to the walk. Once all the group had arrived the staff bought out the alpacas and Charlie the Donkey for me. We went out for about 45/50 mins with 3 members of staffs so there was plenty of cover within the group. We stopped half way for photo opportunities then carried back to the yard. The alpacas all got fed by the group but I got the groom Charlie. Had a wonderful day and highly recommend to adults as well as children

Could not recommend Wetley Moor Alpacas enough — it completely surpassed our expectations. The tour leader was amazing: so knowledgeable, friendly, and fantastic with both the kids and the alpacas. You could really tell this isn’t just about making money; the alpacas are genuinely loved and incredibly well cared for. Nothing felt rushed or overly commercial, which made the whole experience even more special and relaxing. The alpacas were beautiful, calm, and such a joy to spend time with. My kids absolutely loved every minute and are already desperate to go back. A truly wonderful experience for all ages!

We had a great experience walking the donkeys Peanut and Marmite over the Moor. We were extremely lucky with the weather and the enthusiastic support and guidance from Rachel, Molly and Chloe made it a really memorable experience too. Although it had originally been bought as a Christmas present for my wife, we chose to go on her birthday which made it more special start to the day; peanut even wore a birthday hat to help with the celebration too! I would certainly recommend a visit if you ever get chance.. as the alpacas were all great characters to see too! 🫏👍🥳
