What To Expect
Immerse yourself in a private cooking class at the local's home, learn the secrets of the most famous dishes of Italian cuisine and taste the fruit of your labour accompanied by local wines. During the lesson, your host will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Participants will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines. Once our creations are ready, you’ll sit down together to enjoy a relaxed, homemade meal featuring the dishes you prepared. It’s a warm, authentic Italian experience designed to make you feel right at home while discovering the flavors and traditions of our cuisine. Hosted by Cesarine, Italy’s oldest network of passionate home cooks, this unique class offers an authentic perspective that no restaurant can provide. 5.00Marco was a very good chef and teacher. He provided a lot of information and answered many questions about Sardinian cuisine and ingredients. We very much appreciated his casual and interactive approach to cooking. Very much our style. Moreover, he is a very interesting and multi-talented individual with a very diverse history. We enjoyed trading stories during the cooking and eating. The one issue we had was with the Cesarine communication system. While it worked initially, our messages to Marco to coordinate our arrival did not get through to him. Cesarine customer support line only had a recording, and it said if any issues we should contact the host directly at the number provided in the confirmation. However, the confirmation did not provide a number or other direct contact information. Luckily, we were able to figure it out and reach him once we got to the building intercom panel. Cesarine never responded to the voicemail we left. So, while we were very impressed with Marco, we were not impressed with the Cesarine support.

5.00Damiano and Sylvie treated us like we were longtime friends. He taught use to make pasta filled with potato and cheeses and our group tried to roll and pinch the pasta like his grandmother taught him. While I failed miserably at that task, I enjoyed wine, wonderful food and fellowship with the other guests. I definitely recommend this experience when you visit Sardinia!
