Arriving at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, you’ll have two hours to explore this stunning natural wonder. Here you can choose to wander trails, photograph the glacier from the distance, or explore the Visitor’s Center. With various walking trails available, visitors of all fitness levels can enjoy spectacular views of the glacier, Mendenhall Lake, and the untouched wilderness. Entry to the Visitor’s Center is included where you can enjoy interactive exhibits and educational presentations.

What To Expect
Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center
OPTIONAL. You will have a total of 2 hours at the Glacier to explore on your own. Entry fees to the Visitor’s Center are included in the price of your ticket where you can enjoy interactive exhibits and educational presentations that offer a deeper understanding of the glacier’s geological significance and the surrounding ecosystem.

5.00Kenny was our guide and was amazing. Very personal and friendly as were the folks at the pickup point. Kenny gave us some great information on the way to and from the glacier in-between his bad dad jokes LOL we enjoyed our time at the glacier and highly recommend walking to the waterfall.

5.00Great small bus ride from the ship to the glacier and back. Timely and convenient. Aiden was our driver and guide. He was such a wealth of information and Really Funny ! He put those elements together for a great tour where we learned a lot while laughing with everyone ! Aiden was the difference

5.00Fred drove us around Juno to two glaciers and the Tahku statue. Our cruise ship didn’t give us much time to look around, so we chose this excursion based on its 1.5hr length. This guy had jokes for days and wonderful information about several historic people from the area. He had water and treats for everyone, and a nice souvenir at the end. We got beautiful pictures, and my husband saw a bear!

5.00It was amazing and breathtaking. The glacier and waterfall were beautiful. We did the hike into nuggets falls so very well worth it. The hike was not bad at love being able to get very close to the water and take plenty of pictures with friends. It’s a must see if you are in Juneau..

5.00This is a very nice tour to Mendenhall Glacier. We had a great driver and a very comfortable bus. We did the walk out to Nugget Falls. Not exactly difficult but a pretty good hike. Wouldn't advise if you are out of shape or have issues. The falls are amazing! Take a jacket because it gets chilly by the falls.

5.00Kenny was a riot. Too early for all the dad jokes, but not his fault! Quite the entertainer and photographer. The glacier is gorgeous close up and Nugget Falls spectacular.
