Led by Sarah, a fresh pasta expert with over 5,000 satisfied clients, this 1.5-hour experience guides you through making traditional pappardelle entirely by hand, just like Italian grandmothers have done for generations. Delight in tasting your creations, paired with two glasses of prosecco and wine. Families are welcomed, and kids can get creative with dinosaur-shaped cookie cutters. In this 1.5- / 2-hour class, learn to make traditional pappardelle entirely by hand, no machines, just the old-fashioned way, exactly as Italian grandmothers have done for generations. Enjoy a tasting of your homemade pasta, along with 2 glasses of Prosecco, 2 glasses of wine and a limoncello/meloncello. The pasta comes with a choice of two sauces: a ragù fish sauce (delicious!) or the classic tomato basil, also delicious. Perfect for everyone, families with young children are very welcome. Kids will love using fun dinosaur-shaped cookie cutters to create their own pasta.

Sarah was an excellent host, she accommodated us straight away when we arrived early and provided us with water and Prosecco to start. The scenery was lovely right next to the canal and it was a lovely relaxed environment. Sarah gave really easy and straight forward instructions when it came to the pasta making and if you struggled at all she was happy to help. Sarah reached out in advance to see what sauce we would like with our pasta and we throughly enjoyed eating the pasta we made and it was a very generous portion. We were well fed and watered throughout and Sarah’s energy and enthusiasm throughout made it so enjoyable. Thank you Sarah for a great morning and lovely lunch!

Out of our 14 day trip through Spain, France and Italy, this cooking class ranked in every single one of our family member's top 5 memories. Sarah is lovely, welcoming and fun. My 3 children, ages 11, 9 and 7 had a blast learning to make pasta. She even had animal shapes for my youngest to use. The pasta was delicious, but the experience was incredible. Overlooking a canal in Italy as you make your own pasta, what more could you want? The value is well worth it. Book with Sarah, you will make a lasting memory for your family.

Sarah ran a fantastic class. The setting is top notch - beautiful location. Making pasta on a floating restaurant deck on a canal was really neat. She was a wonderful host and teacher. We were warmly welcomed, and she provided clear hands-on instruction. She was kind and humourous, and really cares to make sure each guest has a great experience. She contacted us the night before and we were given the option of a tomato basil sauce or a seafood ragu. My family enjoyed their tomato basil and I loved the seafood ragu. It was an absolutely great way to spend our morning, and we now take home the treasure of a recipe to be able to make our own pasta at home. Absolutely recommend.

This was such a fun class with Sara in a beautiful setting on the river. Creating pasta from scratch and then cooking it in a rich sauce. Great fun and we ended up with a beautiful bowl of pasta to eat. Definitely recommend especially if you don't want to travel out of Livorno if you're on a cruise.
