Nami Island
Nami Island is a half-moon-shaped island that resembles a leaf floating on top of Cheongpyeong Lake. The island takes its name from General Nami, a notable figure from the 15th century during the Joseon Dynasty. Nami island is renowned as a filming location for numerous Korean dramas, with 'Winter Sonata' being one of the most famous, often considered a pioneer of Korean culture. Particularly striking are three tree-lined pathways adorned with magnificent tall trees that create captivating scenic views: the Korean nut pine tree lane, the ginkgo tree lane, and the metasequoia tree lane. Nami Island serves as a haven for rest and relaxation, where humans, animals, and trees coexist in peace, love, and harmony, far removed from the hustle and bustle of crowds and civilization.
The Garden of Morning Calm
The 'Garden of Morning Calm' stands as one of Korea's most renowned arboretums, nestled in Gyeong-gi province. This meticulously tended arboretum encapsulates the natural beauty of Korea, the spirit of its people, and an oriental mystique. Visitors to the arboretum not only find themselves refreshed but also experience a profound sense of tranquility. The Garden of Morning Calm offers more than just visual beauty; it also contributes to your overall health and provides an ideal setting for forest therapy. Within the Garden of Morning Calm, you'll discover captivating sub-gardens, such as the 'Millennium Juniper,' a magnificent tree estimated to be around 1,000 years old and emblematic of the Morning Calm. The 'Sunken Garden' represents the essence of the Morning Calm with its vibrant display of flowers, while 'J's Cottage Garden' offers an enchanting English cottage-style retreat. The 'Pond Garden' harmoniously combines Korean tradition with pavilions and Hanok architecture.

My family of 5 enjoyed our tour very much especially the rail bike. Our driver/tour guide is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took beautiful photos of us on our railbikes which we are not able to take ourselves as the bikes are moving. I would recommend Kevin to anyone who like to come to Seoul.

Kevin knew what’s to be done and planned out the day well for us. He had a good grasp of time and managed our activities well. He knew where to go for lunch and even asked that type of food we wanted. As we had kids tagging along, he made sure that they are well attended to also. Overall a good guide to have and a comfortable ride we had too.

Me and my family visited Korea last March. Korea is such a wonderful place to visit. May it be winter, spring, summer or autumn. We enjoyed our stay there during winter. We have been to many places such as Alpaca world, Name Island, Petite France, Seoul Tower, Everland, Myeongdong etc. Many thanks to our tour guide, Mr. Kevin Lee. He is always on time and very professional. I will recommend him to my friends who wants to visit Korea in the future. Thank you, Mr Lee! 🥰
