We will board the boat at the pier of this attraction, feel the gentle breeze of West Lake, and embark on a relaxing and delightful boat tour—cleverly avoiding the crowded shores. On the boat, you will have the leisure to admire the thousand-year-old Leifeng Pagoda, taking in its ancient and solemn silhouette from a distance. You will also see the classic scenic spot featured on the back of the one-yuan banknote—the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon—and of course, the world-famous Broken Bridge, known for its legendary folk tale. The guide will tell you the story behind the Broken Bridge—the epic and moving love legend of Xu Xian and the White Lady. We believe every guest will be touched by this timeless and profound love story. In addition, the guide will share the history and legends behind every landmark along the way, and will remind you of the best photo angles at just the right moments, ensuring you don't miss a single picture-perfect scene.
Head to the famous Longjing Tea Village, where a strong local atmosphere fills the air. The village consists of simple farmhouse courtyards, with flowers and trees planted around them, surrounded by lush green tea hills, and a faint scent of tea leaves wafting through the air. We sit down here to enjoy tea, watching the shopkeeper brew it on the spot. The dried tea leaves slowly unfurl in the hot water, gradually turning green. Taking a sip, there is a slight bitterness at first, but soon a pleasant sweetness rises in the mouth—this is the "returning sweetness" (huigan). After finishing our tea, we can take a walk up the tea hills to see the tea bushes up close and smell the fresh fragrance of the leaves. Along the way, the guide will share some insights about tea, such as when to pick the leaves and how to roast them. On this leisurely afternoon, sipping tea while immersing ourselves in tea culture feels both relaxing and enriching.
