We went family of four to the Bryce Canyon Star Gazing night on June 18, 2026. Night was clear and were able to see Jupiter, Venus and Moon. Lotos of good astronomy information about the milky way and shooting star, big dipper, satellites, constellations. Provided blankets, hot cocoa and lounge chairs to gaze in the outside night sky. Very enjoyable, memorable and guides were super knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend especially in summer warmer afternoon, this night cool activity is very relaxing.

The most beautiful night of stars and Milky Way viewing with knowledgeable staff! It was so interesting and a memorable experience. One of the best in Bryce Canyon.

We opted for the midnight viewing. Note-it was nearly 20 degrees colder at the outfitter than it was in Tropic at midnight! At first we were a little disappointed that it was held in the outfitter’s parking lot. They made considerable strides to minimize the light pollution and make it feel like you were in the middle of nowhere. The guides were great. They started with star facts, then moved on to the constellations explaining the mythology of each one. They were open and engaging to our many questions. They then showed us a number of planets and stars through their high tech telescopes. We had a great time and learned a new appreciation for stargazing

Knowledgeable guides led us in a scientific tour of the dark Bryce Canyon skies. Raised in large, I was awestruck by the real brightness of the sky and the amount of stars that I had never seen. Our guides pointed out their powerful telescopes to binary stars, star clusters, and the gigantic Jupiter. This was combined with explanations and the mythology stories that accompany the constellations. This was highly educational and entertaining.

The weather cancelled out plans, but the company did their best to make a great plan B & make lemonade out of the situation.
