Join us on a wonderful afternoon wine tour starting from Tours or Amboise, and discover the local wines of the Touraine region.
As a small group of up to 8 people, you'll visit two wine estates in the Touraine "appellation" area with your local expert guide.
We will take you through the vineyards and the wineries, providing insights into the 'terroir' and the art of winemaking. You'll have the chance to taste a large variety of sparkling, white, rosé and red wines from the region, made with many grape varieties (Chenin, Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet, Gamay,…), accompanied by cheeses and charcuterie specialties from the region (rillettes, rillons, …)
Throughout the transfers between locations, you'll have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Loire landscapes through the windows of our comfortable chauffeured Mercedes minivan.

What To Expect
Visit a vineyard in Touraine, learn about 'terroir', and enjoy a tasting of sparkling, red and white wines (at least 5 wines), paired with local charcuterie.
Visit a second vineyard in Touraine. Tour of the wine cellar and winery, tasting showcasing the diversity of wines from sparkling to still, dry to sweet (at least 6 wines) paired with local cheeses.

4.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of wine in the Vouvray region! Learned a lot about the ine making process and especially how champagne is processed. Woudl recommend this to anyone visiting the Amboise/ Tour area.

5.00Vino Loire Wine Tours curates an incredible experience! Our guide Emma was passionate about the wines, the vineyards and just how the Loire valley makes wine in general. Our entire group learned so much from Emma and she was able to answer any questions we threw her way. The pick up was incredible easy and the accommodations at each winery were great. We loved being able to visit more local wineries and hear all about the history of each. Overall this was an incredible half day experience learning about the regions, the wines and getting to meet other people vacationing in the area. Highly recommend this tour if you're visiting the Loire Valley region!

4.00Our guide was wonderful but a couple not so great things. First our guide was 1/2 hour late and I also had the impression from the photos that we would actually be in the vineyards. I was also disappointed in the food. For the amount of money that we spent on this tour I expected more than some cheese. I am unsure if we actually got the “full “ tour that we paid for since it was cut short by 1/2 hour, very unhappy. As I said our guide was great but had a rough start and tour was WAY overpriced for what we got. Would never book again
