We loved the Agadir beach. It is one of the most popular coastal destinations in southern Morocco. The long stretch of golden sand and the promenade surrounded by cafes and restaurants make it the perfect place to relax. We had a great time.

The beach in Agadir is excellent — wide, clean, and perfect for walking, relaxing, or enjoying the ocean. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, and it’s great for families and visitors of all ages. However, some areas have a lot of stones, so wearing sandals or water shoes can make it more comfortable. Despite this, the overall experience is very enjoyable, and the views of the ocean are beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Agadir who wants a pleasant beach day.

Beautiful sandy clean beach with shallow water for padding, bit chilly to swim if you don't have a wet suit. Great for walking and exercising, not busy. It appeared to be very safe with regular patrols from tourist police on sand buggies and motorcycles. The hawkers are friendly.

We spent so much of our holiday on this beautiful beach and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. The beach itself is stunning: it stretches for miles along the Atlantic Ocean with soft, wide golden sand and refreshing sea breezes, making it perfect for both morning strolls and long days of sun and play by the water. The entire area is kept very clean and tidy, and there is nothing quite like the gentle sea breeze here to make you feel truly relaxed. Relaxed & Well Maintained: We enjoyed walking along the shoreline every day and loved how relaxed and peaceful the atmosphere felt. We felt completely safe walking and sitting here throughout the day and into the evening. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and ice-cream stalls close by, so you never have to go far for a coffee or snack while soaking up the beautiful views. A Safe and Welcoming Place: What impressed us most was how welcoming it felt. We even stayed out sitting on the sand well into the night, and it always felt secure. While there are local peddlers, they are very respectful: a simple, polite shake of the head to say "no" was all it took, and they would leave us in peace. Incredible Buzz & Sunsets: One of our favorite moments was simply watching the sunset over the Atlantic, with the sky turning into a gorgeous mix of colors and the gentle waves rolling in. We were also lucky to visit while Morocco was hosting the African Cup of Nations. There was a fanzone set up nearby with big screens and a buzzing atmosphere that was music-filled and cheering, yet still very family-friendly. Insider Tip: If you go for a morning walk, the air is cooler and the beach is much quieter, which is perfect for a peaceful start to the day. It is also the most magical spot for an early evening stroll to watch that famous sunset! Whether you plan to swim, stroll, sit with a drink, or just watch the world go by, Agadir Beach is a highlight of any visit to the city. Highly recommended!

300 sunny days a year and a particularly mild climate have established the reputation of Agadir beach, bordered by pines and tamarisk that anchor the dunes, as well as the long wide walkway Nouvelle Corniche. This 6 km of fine sand means that at any time of year you can indulge in the sea joys of rowing, windsurfing, surfing, fishing, horseback riding and more in this excellent bay with calm water.

Agadir beach is one of Morocco’s most popular coastal destinations, and rightly so. Its extensive strip of golden sand, mild climate all year round and promenade full of cafes and restaurants make it the perfect place to relax. It is ideal for families and those looking to practice water sports or just enjoy the sun. In addition, the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean is a sight not to be missed. A must-see stop on any trip through southern Morocco 🇲🇦.

We visited Agadir Beach during a weekend break in December 2024, and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was warm enough to enjoy being barefoot in the sand, with the sun glinting off the waves and barely a cloud in the sky. It’s such a wide, clean beach — plenty of space for kids to run around, and peaceful enough to just sit and listen to the sea. My oldest son is autistic and suffers temperature regulation problems - but visiting in December was perfect for him and he enjoyed a peaceful play on the beach while his siblings napped in the pushchair. Even in winter, there was a lovely, relaxed holiday feel with people jogging, horse riding and families playing near the water. The promenade beside the beach is perfect for a stroll, with cafés and ice-cream stalls dotted along the way, and it felt safe and welcoming the whole time we were there. For families, it’s ideal — easy access, soft sand, and a calm vibe that makes it great for sensory-sensitive children or anyone who just enjoys open space without crowds. The sunsets here are incredible too — golden light stretching across the Atlantic, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Agadir.

Beautiful expanse of sandy beach. Plenty of room for everyone and every activity. It's a pleasure to see so many people enjoying time on the beach. Families, groups of young people, children all having a good time eating together, swimming surfing or playing games. Excellent promenade runs alongside. Perfect leisure area for all.

We were lucky to visit Agadir off season and I highly recommend it. We were there in January and the weather was warm and sunny and the beach very quiet. It is a beautiful coastline. The beach is very wide and sandy and is really enjoyable to walk on. The sea breezes always feel refreshing in the hot weather. If you are spending a day in the beach, there are plenty of facilities within close walking distance and should you need it, lots of parking places close-by
