Nancy
At the end of the 19th century, Nancy was at the centre of one of the richest and most prosperous regions of France, Lorraine. The "Capital of the East" as it was nicknamed at the time saw the emergence of an artistic movement that would make it internationally famous, Art Nouveau. 5.00Léopold is a very interesting guide, with great knowledge, who adds a touch of humor to his explanations. We even forgot about the bad weather. He allowed us to enter magical places (bank). Brasserie Excelsior). We followed his advice and visited the Villa Majorelle, representative of Art Nouveau. Highly recommended visit for those who want to see the facades of Nancy in a different way.
