The day will start with a private pickup direct from your hotel in Bali! Relax and enjoy the ride in your own private car, while we take you to a local village in East Bali where you'll get a glimpse of how and where Balinese families live. After a tasty lunch, you will be invited to participate in typical traditional cultural activities.

What To Expect
Klungkung
Bakas Village is an old, authentic village, located in the Klungkung area. We will visit a local family compound where we will learn and participate in various Balinese activities, visit temples, have a delicious home cooked lunch and go trekking through the rice fields and visit a secret river.
Trek through rice fields to visit the hidden Melangit river. Both peaceful and beautiful, the Melangit river is a place you don't want to miss.

5.00It was a very memorable day. We felt so honoured to join Wayan and his family today. It was extra special to have been allowed to be part of his wife Balinese birthday ceremony. We also enjoyed the music, dance and the wonderful food. We really got to experience the true Balinese lifestyle and felt welcomed by everyone involved in making this a memorable experience for us. We will definitely be recommending this to family and friends and will be sharing everything we have learnt about the culture. Thank you Wayan and family!!

5.00We really loved this experience. We felt very welcomed into the family, the traditional food, the musical instruments, the dance, and a casual walk around the area, what incredible views, the temple and great timing for an upcoming festival meant there was so much we saw! Couldn't recommend Wayan enough, and this was our second amazing experience with forever vacations! This will be a highlight for us, very different to traditional tours, very quiet, and very intimate experience.
