This was great! A little over an hour. It’s all we needed and gave us time in the day to view these caves from the top and then drive to Sagres. The water was a little choppy so we really wouldn’t have liked much more than its duration.

It is a very worthwhile boat tour of the Lagos grottos. We had beautiful weather , humorous and informative commentary and very skilful manoeuvring that allowed us some wonderful photo opportunities. We really enjoyed it.

Booked the 0930 boat 75 minutes duration on 14/6. Very efficient booking system on line and easy to find the departure gate at the Marina. Guides were excellent, very informative and witty. The caves are definitely worth a visit and the guides make out various animals they carved into the stone on their days off!

Make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen and sunglasses. The afternoon trip gets very hot. Great view of the western caves.

We start from the premise that nature is incredible and wonderful and that Fernanda sold us the tour, creating high expectations. So far, everything is perfect. Upon arriving today, Monday, for the 12:30 tour to the boat for the Ponta da Piedade route, we boarded with 9 people: 6 English speakers, one Portuguese, and the two of us Spaniards. When the guide spoke in English and Portuguese, I asked him if he would provide explanations in Spanish, and he told us that when he had been to Spain, no one had spoken to him in Portuguese. No comments. Not content with that, he made several references to the Spaniards, causing the others to laugh at us and ridiculing us. The situation was such that a woman who spoke English and Spanish felt so bad that she said she would translate for us. We thanked her very much, but we said it was not necessary for her to bother, as we understood it was not her job. During the journey, in the end, he deigned to say a few words in Spanish, but more because of the expressions on the faces of the others than out of conviction. We do not know the name of the guide or the captain, either they did not tell us or we did not understand them. But I hope to never see those two again and that they open their eyes a little to the world. It has nothing to do with the kindness and hospitality of the Portuguese. In summary: I give 2 stars for these two people, who working in tourism did not want us to understand the explanations, but Fernanda and the wonderful landscape deserve a 5!!!
