We had the absolute best time learning to cook orecchiette and macaroni with Enza and her beautiful family. It was a mixed generation group of me, my husband, our young children (7 and 4), my parents and my two aunts. From start to finish they welcomed us into their beautiful sanctuary of a home with apertivo next to their glistening pool, then brought us up onto their stunning deck where we learned truly how to make these pastas. The whole time we were laughing, learning about each other, listening to good music and drinking great wine. Then they took everything inside to make as we got to relax next to the pool. We were then served the most delicious lunch and dessert, followed by a video presentation of the day (that they later sent to me) and an “award ceremony” where they presented our children with adorable king and queen of pasta-making certificates. It was all so thoughtful and truly was an absolute highlight of our 15 days in Puglia. I cannot recommend this activity enough.

It was a wonderful experience in a family home. Just what I was looking for. Antonio and Enza, their daughters and Josh were the most gracious hosts and made the evening fun and lively . Their daughter who is a beautiful pianist treated us with her talents on the piano. The pasta and sauces were delicious. It was a fun night with a lot of laughs.

This was the highlight of our trip! We cannot recommend it enough! Enza, Cristiana, Michela and Josh were the most wonderful hosts. They made us feel like family. Communication prior to the event was great and meeting them in person was even better. They are all so kind and welcoming. Making pasta was a blast and the finished product was delicious! They even made it so fun for our kids ranging in age from 4-10 years old. The kids wanted to stay all night and asked if we could go back the next day. We will recommend this to anyone we know traveling to Puglia. And we hope to come and experience it again. Truly incredible. A must do! The atmosphere was ideal, the food and drinks were delicious and the company even better. It’s also super interesting to hear about how they harvest their crops and make all their sauces and food. Don’t hesitate to book!

We booked this in the UK before our visit - never having done anything like this before we were a little unsure of what to expect - it was a lovely evening in a fun and relaxed ambience, we felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived and met another 2 couples and a couple with their 3 kids, all from the states, lovely interesting people. The food presented on arrival was delicious, authentic and very tasty, we enjoyed Prosecco and then the cookery class was lots of fun, we then all sat down for dinner and enjoyed the fruits of our labour ! With some lovely wine- we can not recommend it highly enough - it was our last night in Italy and it gave us lots of happy memories to cherish

This was by far our favorite excursion during our 2 week stay in Puglia. When you join Enza & Antonio in their home, you are family. From the moment you walk into their picturesque garden complete with a swimming pool, tree swing, and canopy patio you are filled with joyful genuine kindness and warmth. Even Jambo the golden lab comes to greet you enthusiastically with full body wiggles. Our night was filled with authentic family recipes and stories to include how they met. Their adult children happen to home and helped as well and they are equally charming and engaging. Our class was very well thought out around a wooden table on their floral bejeweled patio. Between laughter and connection Enza skillfully and effortlessly walked us through how to make macaroni as well as orecchiette. Always encouraging and graceful in their teaching the whole family helped each of us to success. After a quick clean up and transition to a dining set up, we sat down together and enjoyed what we had all made together. Two different sauces and some local delicious wine paired beautifully with our home made community pasta. To top off the evening Enza shared her personal blueberry pie made with a rye crust. Unique refreshing and healthy. And through it all, the family captured every precious moment on film, presenting us with a home video of the entire night that they shared for us to keep. This wasn’t just a class, it was a heart warming and soul refreshing experience that will renew your faith in the human spirit.
