What To Expect

Get to know Dallas at your own pace on this interactive scavenger hunt walking tour. You'll explore the city on foot and get points for solving different types of tasks: Find sights: You will use hints to find the best sights and hidden gems throughout the city. The map function in the app will help you get there. Solve questions: Once you’ve arrived at the place you’re looking for, you’ll be asked questions about the sight. Most of the time, the answers are hidden in signs, pictures, etc. A great and fun way to learn new things about the city. Have fun: During the adventure you can also expect exciting photo tasks that require a lot of creativity. If you master the snapshots, you will be rewarded with points. Along the way, you’ll reach amazing places like the "Pioneer Plaza", "Old Red Courthouse", "Dealey Plaza" and many more. After you buy the ticket, you will receive an access code that you can use in the app. The experience is not limited in time. You can explore the city at your own pace and take breaks. Just download the Explorial-App, go to the starting point, and you’re ready to start with the game. The tour lasts on average about 1-2 hours.

I did this self-guided tour alone and had a blast! It was the perfect way to explore Dallas at my own pace. The riddles were fun, the app was very user-friendly, and I discovered some amazing city highlights. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

Family trip with my son, daughter and grandchildren. The questions were interesting and interactive, but I guess I expected something a little different. The area seemed a little destitute. There were no restaurants along the way to grab a drink or even an ice cream cone to combat the Dallas heat. We ended our trip about 25% along the way. ALSO, I tried to change the date of my reservation because I booked for the wrong day. The first time I called I was told that I had to call the touring company myself and was given a phone number that didn't even work. Then I chatted with someone who was rude and kept telling me to "hold on". I was told that I would receive an email confirmation within 24 hours that my booking was changed but NO EMAIL ever came. Then, I had to call the get the code to start the game because the email I received with the code was incorrect. Not a very pleasant experience!
