Such a great guide and worth the money to cut lines and learned a great deal! Doing both in the same day is a good idea.

We had a terrible tour experience – indeed, it was so bad that we chose to leave the tour early and forgo our visit to the Ufizi museum. Our guide, while charming as a person, was completely unorganized, difficult to understand, and, most importantly, failed to provide information or background that was intelligible or informative. She even informed us at the beginning of the tour that she refuses to carry a flag for us to locate her which led to chaotic confusing times trying to make sure everyone on the tour could locate her throughout the tour. To be clear, we weren’t expecting a university-level tour guide experience, but the narration and organization we received failed to even reach a grade-school level. This was particularly surprising given how expensive the tour was, but frankly, we would’ve been disappointed by the quality of the tour at any price. We also aren’t complainers or the type of people who expect perfection, but our experience was so abysmal we opted to bail on the tour after the first half of the day (and similarly thought it bad enough to take the time to write this review). We recognize this company has other tour guides, so perhaps the rest are amazing (hence the mostly positive reviews), but this was at least our experience with this guide.

It was overall a nice experience seeing the different parts of Florence. The skip the line was great to get in and see David and the guide was very knowledgable on the history of all the marble statues and what went into making them. The last part in the Uffini museum really was what brough this down to average. It was way too long and spent too much time talking about some of the artworks. And to make it really tough was there was no AC or felt like it in the museum as it was so hot in there. That part completely lost it for my family. Other than that it was good day and tour

The tour guide was amazing - he gave so many details and information that was fascinating. He also was very patient. I learned so much in such a short amount of time

The tour was fun and we actually covered a lot of stuff we had already visited on our own. That said, the history you learn is fantastic, and having quick access to tickets to places makes it worth the cost instead of waiting in the long lines.

We loved being able to skip the line. Since we only had a couple of days in Florence, we didn't have to waste time waiting in line to see David or Uffizzi. The walking tour around town was very informative. The talk about the art pieces in the museum was very informative but did get a little bit long and boring for some of the people in our group.

As well as this tour in Florence, we took a similar tour with a different company in Venice two days later. So I have a benchmark to compare this amazing tour with the other one. Elena was fantastic first for making a personal connection with each one of us and then for providing the most interesting and relevant info in an engaging way. Highly, highly recommended.

Great overview of the Uffizi and the Academia. A bit of walking as well. Tons of great historical content. But instead of ending early, a 30 minute break for lunch would have been nice.

My husband and I were lucky enough to do this tour with a nice small group and a fantastic guide, Laura (which she pointed out the correct way to pronounce her name was to use ALL of the vowels!) She was great. It was obvious from the beginning the passion that she has for everything she showed us. We began our tour with seeing Galleria dell'Accademia where we saw David. Of course there was much more in that museum and she explained it all - super interesting. When we got to David she told us more than I would have ever expected. As we were walking through the streets of Florence she explained so much more. We had a break for lunch then came back together in the Piazza della Signoria where she went over stories of many of the fabulous statues there. We went on to tour the Uffizi Gallery. I dont think we would have enjoyed this part of the tour nearly as much without a guide and Laura really "hit it out of the park" (I wonder if she knows what that means lol) with that famous art gallery. Normally my eyes kinda glaze over quickly with art galleries - and I do like them but I dont last long trying decipher everything myself. However she made each piece come alive with the stories and it was such a good experience. This tour is expensive but we felt like it was money well spent. Grazie mille to Laura!
