At dawn, witness the world’s largest acidic lake with its stunning turquoise waters.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Your adventure starts in the morning with pick-up by car or minibus from South Bali: 5:45 AM from Seminyak or 7:00 AM from Ubud (also possible from Munduk, Pemuteran, or Gilimanuk). For participants already in Java, pick-up is at Probolinggo station at 3:30 PM. After several hours of travel, you will cross the Bali Strait by ferry to reach Java. Soon after, a local-flavored lunch will be served – your first culinary discovery of the region. By late afternoon, you will arrive at the village of Cemoro Lawang Bromo, located at 2300 meters above sea level. A simple and clean guesthouse awaits you with a local dinner, ideal for resting and preparing for the night ascent of Bromo the next morning.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
After a 3:30 AM wake-up, you’ll take a 4x4 jeep to ascend Mount Bromo (active volcano, 2300 m). Begin hiking a narrow path and climb 250 steps to the summit. At the top, enjoy breathtaking views of the smoking crater at dawn—a magical moment. Watch the sunrise over Bromo, surrounded by Batok (extinct, 2400 m) and Semeru (active, 3677 m, Java’s highest volcano). After sunrise, cross the “Sea of Sand,” a vast volcanic ash plain. Then visit Seruni viewpoint for panoramic views of the Tengger massif. After breakfast, continue through villages and plantations toward Kawah Ijen, with local lunch en route. Stay at a guesthouse near the volcano, ending the day with a traditional Javanese dinner.

Ijen Crater Indonesia
Departure at 1:00 AM to base camp (1900 m). After safety briefing and gear (lamps, masks), hike 1.5 hours under stars to Kawah Ijen summit (2300 m). In darkness, descend the crater to see the unique blue flames. Guides, former miners, ensure your safety. At sunrise, admire the world’s largest acid lake and courageous sulfur workers. Return to base camp and guesthouse for homemade breakfast and shower. Ferry back to Bali with drop-offs in Pemuteran, Munduk, Ubud, or Seminyak (late afternoon).

5.00It was a wonderful tour, very well organised. I myself preferred to take a plane from Bali instead of the long riding. Though it's an intense and tiring experience, it's really worth It. The Bromo volcano was increíble. Also the Ijen and the trekking. The first hotel is a clean house in the mountain, good food was provided. The second place where we stayed was a amazing small hotel near a rice field. The owner Petra provided lots of information. The food was incredible. Thanks to all the drivers and guides, they were so nice.

5.00Amazing trip! Well organised, good communication before leaving. It’s a BIG journey, so be prepared for a lot of time in the van, but worth it if you’ve only got a short time. Bromo hike was the highlight and I loved that we did it the opposite way of most tours so had the place to ourselves at time (sunrise on the rim, the viewpoint after) The accommodation for Ijen was outstanding, food just kept coming, and the guides were energetic and prioritised our safety. Highly recommend!!

Transfers, transportation, accommodation and meals were coordinated and qualitative. We never had to worry about anything. All the staff were lovely, the guides were very nice and always listening to our needs. They made sure to organize tours of high quality, and we were able to enjoy the highlights (sunrise, climbing, etc.). The whole team was responsive, attentive, listening to every detail, ready to answer our questions. We felt that they wanted our experience to be truly memorable. 5.00This 3 day trip was legendary! Everyone involved to make it happen deserves kudos; From the driver that picked us up from the hotel and took us to Bromo, the tour guide, the two guides in Bromo and Ijen and even the stuff and the 2 hotels we stayed in. This is a very serious effort done by the people who run these trips to make everything easy and automatic for the clueless tourist who wants to visit these magical places. You don't need much really, anything you miss or forget they will immediately take care of for you (clothes, bags, equipment etc). Everyone involved is a true professional, always at your disposal to make the trip easy and enjoyable. The accomodations were great, the food delicious and there are not enough words to describe the experience in the two places we went to. I can't recommend this trip enough, no need to look anywhere else if you want to visit Bromo/Ijen. Special kudos to Harry, the guide we had for the Ijen climb. He was a true legend, made everything easy for us and went the extra mile to make sure we get all the photos/footage we needed!

The meals were great, special mentions for the evening meal of the first hostel and breakfast back to Bali 👌🏻 The guides are very pro, no pressure on the climb and all the staff was on top! Thank you to Sahal for being in the van and for answering our many questions 😇 Despite a weather not at the rendezvous for Bromo, the overall experience remains unique and beautiful! Go ahead!

5.00We had an incredible experience with Pierrick and his team. Everything is organized in a smart way to avoid other tourists when possible (Bromo). All the guides were very professional but also very kind especially with the kids. The hotel at Ijen is simple but comfortable and well decorated and the food, all local, amazing!
