I spent a weekend in Warsaw and decided to try this traditional Polish food tour, and it was absolutely worth it, the food was truly unique and delicious and gave a great introduction to authentic Polish cuisine, it was not only interesting to explore the city but also to learn more about its culinary culture, the guide explained not only the dishes but also the cooking processes which made the experience even more engaging, and I would definitely take this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw😊

We had a very enjoyable afternoon with our guide Arif and his two trainees Büsra and Anis. Since we were only a group of six (including our guides) we had a very private tour and a lot of fun.

I arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the rain. It was an open public space, so I was relying on their guide to make himself known to me. He did not and did not approach me because he had been incorrectly informed by the tour operator of the numbers in his group. After the departure time had passed, I called the tour operator one minute after the departure time had passed. They took 10 minutes to respond, admitting that they were trying to contact the guide. finally, after half an hour they messaged again offering sincere apologies and providing an address where I could catch up with the tour. By the time I arrived on the food tour I had missed 40 minutes of a 3-hour tour and missed a couple of the food stops, and I had had to wait for half an hour in the rain, all due to the Operator's error. I mentioned on the phone to them that I felt a partial refund would be appropriate for the part of the tour that I had missed and the inconvenience suffered. Their representative said that they would get back to me about this. When I caught up with the tour the guide was deeply apologetic and did say that he could provide additional dishes at the future stops on the tour, but despite this offer, these dishes never materialised. The tour is advertised as three to three and a half hours, and it should end at the departure point. In reality, it lasted only 2.5 hours (less than 2 hours for me) because the guide left us early, in a cafe about 1.5km from the tour start point. The guide, Louis was a nice enough person, but did not appear to know much about Warsaw, Poland, or the local culture. He was a university student from India who had lived in Poland for less than two years. However, the reason I feel compelled to write this review is that the tour operator did not contact me about a refund as they had promised so I contacted Viator, who investigated. They have now come back to me and said that the tour operator had told them the following: "They've advised that even though you are the only one who is late, they tried to compensate you for the tour for another 2 stops, however, you denied their goodwill offer. " THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE. I was not late - the message in the VIATOR app was sent at 15:01 stating that I had been there for 15 minutes - start time was 15:00. Although I was offered additional dishes, I was not offered additional stops, and nothing was forthcoming - another lie. These people are dishonest and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I could not recommend this tour to anyone.

The food selection was excellent, giving us the chance to try a variety of traditional Polish dishes, including some that were completely new to us. The guide created a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, was easy to talk to, and shared interesting insights about local culture and everyday life in Poland. It felt more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend than being on a typical tour. Everything was well organized, the food was delicious, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and enjoyable🙂

I booked this tour to learn a little about Poland and try the fabulous food. I was very disappointed. We sampled a cabbage roll which was great, perogies were ok, potatoe pancake, Hungarian goulash and a donut. ( not 10 dishes as specified). Optional snapps at the end. Tour was over in 2 ( not 3-4 as stayed) hours and I had to specifically ask the guide to take me back to the starting point to meet up with my friends. He wasn’t very happy about it! No polish history, no dialogue on how the dishes were made. Spent 90% of the time staring at his back walking 50 feet in front of the group. I would appreciate a refund please. $126 was ridiculous for this tour, I feel like I wasted my chance to experience Warsaw.

My wife and I and our friends had a wonderful time on this tour. Arif was a very helpful tour guide, and he introduced us to a range of traditional Polish dishes, some of which we had tried before and some of which were new to us. He took an interest in us and offered a lot of fun insights about the city and his experiences. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
