In three hours, learn how to make fresh pasta such as spaghetti alla chitarra and tagliatelle, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. With a passion for vegetables and vegetarian food, Elena will guide you in creating delicious sauces, enriched with tomatoes and basil, My Saves ingredients! End the experience with a typical dessert, such as tiramisu or semifreddo all'amaretto, reviving grandmother's recipes. At the end you will enjoy all the dishes prepared with a glass of good local wine. An unmissable opportunity for those who love good food.

What To Expect

Love of food and imagination are the key ingredients of this cooking class, as well as flour and eggs. We will prepare fresh homemade pasta together, cook sauces to season it, create a delicious traditional dessert and then .... taste everything with a glass of good local wine! We will prepare the classic tagliatelle and spaghetti alla chitarra that we will dress with a sauce of seasonal vegetables, pesto or cheese. For dessert you can choose whether to prepare tiramisu or semifreddo with amaretto. All equipment and materials will be provided. Allergies or food intolerances will be considered.

We booked the Italian cooking class with Elena during our stay at Iseo. We had a wonderful experience at Elena's place. The contact before the class was very friendly and clear. Elena and her dog gave us a very warm welcome and because the temperature was very high Elena placed a fan in the kitchen to give us some air. We made 2 types of pasta, 2 sauces and a very delicious Tiramisu. As we were just with the two of us we had a very nice chat with Elena during our lunch at a beautiful set table. It felt like we have been friends for years already. This an absolute must do when you stay at the Iseo lake!

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Elena is a wonderful host: warm, enthusiastic, and highly professional. Everything was perfectly organized, and we really appreciated being able to prepare so much ourselves while receiving clear guidance. The recipes were delicious, the atmosphere relaxed, and the beautifully set table made the experience even more special. It felt authentic, personal, and genuinely Italian. Let me start by saying - book this experience! I’ve done a few cooking classes in the past, but usually, you mostly just sit and watch. This workshop with Elena was different and so much fun because we were actually involved in making the food at almost every step. Elena was very welcoming and patient with answering all of our questions. We made two types of pasta, two sauces, and a tiramisu. The timing was perfect, nothing felt rushed, and the whole experience felt like cooking with friends in a cozy kitchen. It was such a warm, friendly atmosphere, and her cute dog added to the overall homely experience. If you want a personal, authentic experience with a real Italian chef, this is it!

We had a great morning with Elena. Elena welcomed us very hospitably, the cooking event was perfectly prepared, and it was a lot of fun to learn how to make spaghetti, tagliatelle, and tiramisu ourselves. It was even more enjoyable to eat together with Elena and her husband. Not to forget, Leo the dog. It was a highlight of our vacation!

My husband and I booked a pasta making class during our stay at Sulzano. We got directions to the house which was very easy to find. On arrival we got a warm welcome from their little dog. We had an amazing time learning how to make fresh pasta and pesto and a delicious tiramisu. Elena was the best teacher and gave us lots of encouragement. We ate what we made with Elena and her husband over a couple of glasses on wine and really enjoyed their conversation and hospitality. This day proved to be the highlight of our holiday and we can’t wait to try the delicious recipes that Elena sent us after our visit. Definitely recommend you book if you are in the area you won’t regret it.

A very nice Italian cooking course, really recommended! You will learn to make pasta, tiramisu and pesto according to authentic Italian recipe. No or little experience is no problem, there is plenty of patience. Finally, the conversations with the couple over dinner are very pleasant!

A fantastic experience with a combination of cooking knowledge and Italian hospitality. Elena welcomed us to her home and made us feel like part of her family preparing dinner and dessert for a family gathering. It was fun, a great learning experience but also a feeling of being part of the family together with Elena and her very nice husband (who also gave us great tips on where to go on our continued trip in Italy. Elena, her husband and their dog Leo, were absolutely wonderful. I had no idea pasta could be so good! Simply delicious! We came home and ordered the pasta maker and guitar, found the 00 flour and other fresh ingredients and had a pasta making Mother's day with our kids! We need a little more practice, but Elena was a patient and kind teacher. Love to them all!
